About Cairds Camping and Caravan Site
Set on the outskirts of Stonegate hamlet in the High Weald National Landscape, this site is an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway with friends or family. A quiet site with just a few pitches to ensure a restful break, yet only a 25 minute drive to Royal Tunbridge Wells. There are just 15 electric grass pitches spread out across the site set on a slight slope with gorgeous countryside views available from your pitch. Each pitch has a 10 amp electric hook up. There are three 5m bell tents available each sleeping up to six people with double and single blow-up beds to suit the number of guests staying, there is also a travel cot available. Inside is a mini kitchen with an electric hob, toaster, kettle, cool box, cutlery and crockery. The Glamping Arch is a heated pod sleeping up to four with a double bed and a double sofa bed, with bedding provided. There is an ensuite and a kitchenette equipped for your self-catering needs with an electric hob, fridge, kitchen, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. Or, the glamping cabin sleeps up to two with a double bed, there is also a heater and a mini kitchen equipped with an electric hob, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. Bedding is provided in all the glamping accommodations, but please note that towels are not. If you are using the travel cot in the bell tent please bring your own bedding. Dogs are welcome onsite, there is even a mown path around the field to walk them, but please ensure that they are kept on a lead of no more than 2m at all times. In the glamping accommodation dogs are not permitted on any furniture. Fire pits and BBQs are permitted as long as they are raised from the ground. There are blocks to borrow or fire pits available to hire and logs available to purchase.
Camping, touring and bell tents are available from April until November. The cabin is available from March until the end of November. The camping arch is available all year.

Things to do on site and in the Wadhurst area
There is plenty to explore around the site, spend the day at Bewl Water (20 minutes), a great spot for a family day out. Enjoy picturesque walks around the reservoir or bring your bike to explore further! There are other outdoor activities on offer including canoeing, climbing and fishing.
High Rocks is another great spot and just over 20 minutes away where you can admire the stunning High Weald landscape, climb across the rocks or hop on the Spa Valley Steam Train. Catch your breath with a delicious meal at the restaurant after exploring.
Royal Tunbridge Wells is a 20 minute drive from the site and offers a range of lovely shops and restaurants, great for a day of mooching. Wander along the Pantiles, visit the market or even head to the cinema if the Great British weather decides to turn!
