The park is the perfect place to come to Nevis Range and take part in the range of activities that are offered, including skiing and snowboarding. The 15 hardstanding pitches are suitable for tourers, and are a close walk to the gondola that will take you up to the mountain. This is a great location for a Scottish ski holiday!

Pitch ok, toilet block very clean and new, toilet block location to pitch is down a muddy lane full of boulders and building materials as there is still building work going on.
Site's response
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay! The path to the facilities block goes through a wooded area which can get muddy when there is heavy rainfall.

It looks to be either a new site or a refurbished site. The washing up area is amongst the pitches but has no hot water. The facilities area is part of a larger complex. It's a fair walk from the pitches (lit at night). They have six or seven showers but only one toilet which is in one of the shower cubicles. Brand new so very clean.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay! We have additional toilets with a separate entrance to the left of the facilities block entrance. I will speak to the team and see if we can make sure these are better signposted for future guests!

Staying here with my daughter before she goes travelling. Great site, still under construction, but the toilets and showers are super clean and brand new. There is a gondola to the top of the mountain, but we were interested in seeing the scenery and walking the bear 🐻 (black lab). Only staying two nights as off to the Isle of Skye for Hogmanay before returning on the 2nd. Will definitely use this as a one/two-night stopover, I'm sure people who want to ski/rock climb etc, would stay longer...enjoy.

Facilities at this site are 5* with hairdryers, great showers (plenty available, so no waiting) and toilets. The little walk to them didn't bother us, but might for some. Still under construction at the moment. The think there needs to be some signs as there were 3 lots of people with us who didn't know where to check in, where to go or where the toilets were, especially arriving in the dark. So be aware upon arrival. The location is good, we took the gondola up in the morning. I do think the price was a little steep for a small campervan but it was a great stay overall.

Thank you for your kind review. We are looking to improve signage across the site as our hub development is now reaching completion. We hope to host you again soon!

Access is behind the main gondola building. Level gravel site. Around 5m x 6m, so longer vans will not fit in. Only a few spots so a quiet and pleasant site. Good electric hook ups which are illuminated making it very easy to use. Water pipe nearby was frozen but staff at nearby café filled our container happily. Shower and toilet block around 250m away hence the 3* rating. However, these are fabulous facilities. They are brand new, sparkling clean and have lovely hot water. Hairdryers too! However, they need to add extra hooks in each cubicle as there's nowhere to hang your stuff whilst you shower. Wash up sink near camping spots, cold water only. Bins including recycling which is nice to see. There's a chemical toilet disposal point, but the hose connector has gone walkabouts, so there's a tap and a hose but no way to join the two together! Decent Wi-Fi at gondola building. Staff were really helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

Great place to be if the weather works, nice little site with hook ups and great views, place is still under construction. Couldn't get my head round all the little posts everywhere on the site, they are low down and difficult to see when reversing. No hot water for dishes and no cold taps in the communal washing area (yet). You'll need a good hammer for pegging an awning. Still worth a visit and good value considering the surroundings.

Level hard standing pitch. Electric hook up. Two showers a short walk away. Couldn't find W.C's but we had our own toilet. Very quiet until about 7 am when workers started arriving at the quarry nearby.

Thank you very much for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Nevis Range.

Campsite resembles a car park, just a rectangle of gravel. When I stayed, toilets access via building site and restaurant felt like it was just a café. Felt it was an expensive site or a cheaper car park next door. Location by Gondola is good for mountain bikers and walkers.
Site's response
Thank you for your feedback. Our facilities block is located at our main base station which has been undergoing development. This is very nearly completed and we look forward to hosting guests in this space in the future!

I was told on booking this site that there was some building work being carried out. No facilities in the area we were parked in, except for washing up sinks, drinking water tap, refuse bins and an electric hook up. We had to walk down a makeshift road that was very uneven. Being disabled, this was made much harder. It had no lighting on the walk down to the washroom, which meant you could not see the holes in the road. The shower and toilet were terrible, only to be used if desperate, so I would not recommend this site.
Site's response
Hello Diane, Our walkway to the facilities block is currently closed due to building work being carried out. Our apologies that this was closed. Our new facilities block has just opened. We are sorry we didn't make up to your expectations.

Have scored a bit low because there were unfinished facilities. It will be great when finished and will be better value for money. Several vans staying in the next door car park for much less money and still using the water and toilet emptying facilities was a bit irritating. Maybe consider putting an elsan point in the car park? Cycles whizzing through the site made us jump a couple of times. Good size pitches and very well laid out. Was very quiet in mid September.Great for the dogs.

We were lucky enough to fit our 7.5 motorhome into pitch number 4 as the other could only take campervans. On arrival we could not find the site as no signs, had to go into the car park and had to ask at reception. On arrival at pitch number 4 the electricity did not work, though within one phone call and they were out within 5 mins and fixed it. We then went on the gondola, which was brilliant- well worth a trip. Regarding the site, first of all, they do not have a toilet/shower block, which for a campervan is essential as most do not have toilets. They have fantastic washing up facilities and toilet empty area, but that's all. We went for a walk in the evening and found the toilets were the public toilets in the main building, but some walk away from the site. We found the shower, only 1, in a different area where the building work was being carried out and it was not very clean. Anyway, with a few improvements, this could be such a popular site. Advertise it more and check who comes in, because after 5 I clocked two campervans come in and plug in, and stayed the night- pretty sure they came in when the offices were closed and did not pay. Apart from all the above, it's a great site and would recommend it, as long as you have a toilet tent.
Site's response
Thank you for your review Iain! At your time of stay we were only operating out of our public toilets. However, now our facilities block is open! We hope you can come back to visit!

Location is okay, but no extra value to the parking side near by! Cold water for dishwashing - altogether too expensive!
Site's response
Thank you for your review. Unfortunately we don't have hot water over at the amenities building for dish washing.

If you have a campervan that doesn't need to plug in then don't book here. Just park in main car park at Nevis range & pay the overnight fee of £15 flat rate. I paid £41 for one night for 4 adults as we wanted the convenience of a proper toilet & shower at the site. Instead, there were very basic ones, so felt it was a rip off.

We are in the midst of our Hub Development, which will include a new Facilities Block. We apologise that our Campervan Park was not up to your expectations.

Very useful site for recharging the van with water and electricity. My average rating penalizes the lack of showers and toilets when the price includes a £4 per person contribution on top of the package!
Site's response
Hi, glad to hear you got full use of the electric hook-ups and water facilities! We do have toilets and showers available on site at our base station available for all campsite guests.

Nice area, with things to do onsite and Fort William not far. Facilities were a bit of a walk and not always clean due to bikes being muddy.

Glad you enjoyed our fantastic location at the foot of Aonach Mor! We have been working super hard to get our new facilities block completed and we appreciate your patience while it's still only the old facilities available, this is due to change next week with the completion of our new facilities area!

We booked this campsite on the day, I phoned an spoke to the reception staff as we were not going to make the check in time. The staff were friendly on the phone. We arrived to the site (building site) at approx 6.30pm. We drove round the campervan parking which was basically a gravel car park. The space she told us to go to was taken so we used another bay, unsure whether anybody would then turn up to that one and we would have to move. There were no toilets or showers close to the site at all. Walking around the building site, we found 2 filthy showers next to a bike wash. To get to these you had to walk through the building site. I'm glad I didn't have children with me. We left the site and drove into Fort William hoping to find a Travelodge to stay in. Unfortunately, these were all booked up and we had to return. We eventually did find toilets right round where the visitor centre was. It was far too far to walk to the toilets at night in the dark. Building went well into the night. Very stressful and disappointing. I hope when all the building work is completed that better reviews can be given.

Arrived at 20.30hrs after clarifying with Ally (member off staff) on the phone. First time at the facility so didn't know my way around. Woke up in the morning to find our camper parked right at the bottom off the skills area trails - amazing from the off. Campsite doesn't have toilet/shower facilities yet but will have in near future. These facilities are available round at the main building few minutes walk away. We will definitely be returning for more than one night next time.

Ideal location for mountain bike lovers and access to cable car for Ben Nevis. Campsite pitches need to be better defined as log framed divides we're difficult to distinguish. The showers and toilet block need to be closer to the pitches. Evidence that building work is ongoing to improve the site as lots of areas are closed and large machinery is everywhere. Hence value for money poor when comparing what we have paid for other campsites in the area. Once fully developed, this site will be nice and worth the price charged.
