It was a good site for our one night stop over. A nice pitch, with excellent views and we walked down to the loch the next morning. The shower block was close by, there was a kitchen/washing up area and bins.

This was a last minute booking at Loch Linnhe campsite and my grandson and I wish we were booked in for longer. The location and facilities were fantastic.

Very crowded. Don't expect views of the loch but you'll get plenty of rooftops.

Finally, we managed to go away with the family for a longer time in the caravan. A long awaited trip and we were not disappointed. Beautiful place, wonderful views. Really good service, it was really clean (toilets and showers). At the reception, we got all the information we needed, where we can go with our children of their age and what we can see. We left Linnhe Lochside Holidays this morning and my children were already asking when we can come back here next year but for longer :) Thank you, we spent a really great time with you.

We have had a great experience. Location-wise, it was perfect, pricing-wise, it was competitive. However, cleanliness was not at par. During our two nights, we noticed that shower facilities were not cleaned. Toilets were missing toilet tissues. Apart from that, it was a good experience.

Great location and views to die for, perfect for kayaks and very dog friendly and child friendly. Cleaning facilities are spotless and also the burger van is very reasonably priced and the food was very delish too.
Great view

Site is quite a way out of Fort William. We liked the terraced approach and the planting around the site. Our pitch afforded a great view down the Loch. The facilities were relatively clean but a little dated. Check in procedure straightforward but impersonal.
Peaceful, clean, well equipped, fantastic and the view!

We have only just left, and are already planning our return visit. The view from the campsite is extraordinary, right on the loch. We sat in our caravan or outside to eat meals, watching the sunrise and set over the water. We travelled in a caravan with our two children and our dog. Two children's play areas, that are well stocked and maintained. Pitches are a good size and well spaced out. Laundry, burger van and small shop on site. 1 mile walk to Co-op shop. Great spot to explore local area.

Nice and quiet through the week, saw the steam train coming along the track from the loch side. Nice walk, campsite clean and tidy, good shower and toilet facilities and friendly staff. Close to town and to the wilderness, nice halfway point for adventures.
A travelers delight

Perfect place for a bit of R&R! So peaceful and tranquil and has everything that you would need on site. Definitely recommend and will be bringing guests next time.

Unfortunately, our recent stay at Linnhe Lochside Holidays was quite unsatisfactory. This was the first campsite in 25 years of camping where we had no interaction with the staff. Communication is done via email, informing you that upon arrival, a letter will be posted on a guest board indicating where you can find a spot on the campsite. Checking out also had to be done digitally. The lack of personal interaction, combined with the fully digital handling, gave us the feeling that interaction was not desired, making the experience feel impersonal and unwelcoming. The campsite appears to focus mainly on trailers and campers. The gravel spots didn't look inviting and seemed poorly maintained. Tents are placed in the back of the campsite. The few available spots we could choose from were far from the service building. The spot we chose had big holes and we had to remove many chunks of concrete and rocks. Additionally, the grass around the edges was overgrown, blocking our view and preventing us from enjoying the scenery. The service building itself is outdated, with several showers out of order or having poor drainage. This resulted in standing water while showering and small water streams in the service building's hallway throughout the day. Hot water was not unlimited. In fact, we had to shower with cold water three times during our stay. The sanitary facilities seemed to be cleaned only once a day, which is insufficient during peak season. In the morning, the facilities were clean, but by the end of the day, they were in poor condition. There were only two dishwashing stations, which led to queues every day. This is insufficient for a full campsite the size of Linnhe Lochside. Overall, we felt the pictures were smartly taken, but in reality, the campsite gave us a sense of neglect and decline. It was not a pleasant experience, and we tried to stay away from the campsite as much as possible during our stay. I would not recommend anyone visit Linnhe Lochside Holidays.

What an absolute pleasure to stay here in such beautiful surroundings, only wish it could have been longer. Facilities good and staff extremely helpful. Burger van on site until 2 pm every day, great for a late breakfast. Gardens well tended, a very clean and welcoming site.

Nice campsite but a number of cars driving too fast on site. Didn't see any staff during either of our stopovers. Beautiful Loch!!

Perfect pit stop on our NC500 adventure. The views around the loch, coupled with beautiful, rocky shoreline, walking made this a memorable stopover. Facilities were great, the no restriction on arrival was a bonus as it takes pressure off to set up your pitch. Such a peaceful, tranquil place. We particularly liked the arboretum style tree plaques.

Had a nice stay here, the location was beautiful. Paid for a bath token as my little boy wanted a bath but the water was cold - it was such a disappointment. But like any campsite you have to pick the right time when it's not too busy to have a bath/shower before the hot water runs out. All in all it was a fun stay.
Amazing campsite with stunning views

We loved our stay in this spot. We would love to come back and stay in the lodge next time - the experience with the weather this time put us off camping in a tent for long time. The site is clean, beautiful trees and flowering bushes everywhere. The views of the loch were stunning. The site was busy, but we still felt we had enough space and privacy. The toilets and showers were clean. There is a small shop on site, where you can get some stuff that you might have forgotten, such as citronella candles or nets. It's close to Fort William, so it's really good location for hiking in that area, or even going to the Silver Sands of Morar.
