Situated by the Sound of Kerrera, Oban Holiday Park offers a peaceful getaway, ten minutes outside of Oban town centre. The site is home to spacious grass pitches for tents and tourers, along with a range of pods and lodges. Set away from the crowds, this is an ideal spot for enjoying nature, with easy access to the ferry that will take you to explore the Hebrides. There is also an onsite dog walk and a playpark to keep the kids busy!

A single track road to the site, would have been scary in a bigger van. There were a lot of parked cars and I couldn't see many pull in spots. The toilets were quite a way from pitch. Some of the grass areas looked as if a few vans had got stuck/ ruts. Not a big area of hard standing, this was where quite a few vans (and mine) had huddled as it was a very windy night! There were Highland cows behind the site. It was handy for the ferry at 7 am, the staff at the reception were friendly and helpful.

It was a nice site, what I didn't like was the road into the place. The facilities were clean and tidy.

A great little place in a wonderful quiet location. We finally chose the top of the hill looking down towards the sea and we had a lovely view. The toilet block is basic but clean, at the end of the day this is a camp site not a hotel. The washing up facilities were good as expected. When we arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return here .

Top location with top view! Bit difficult to reach with motorhome.

A stunning location access road is very narrow although good passing points. Grass standing was on slopes and with recent rain, we nearly sunk our motorhome in the soft grass. The toilet blocks were poor, the showers old and did not work properly. We heard from one of the locals that the company are looking to upgrade the toilet blocks. I'm sure this would make a huge difference, along with a hardstanding part on the grass. We did enjoy our stay as the location is stunning but I'm afraid until some improvements are made, we won't be back. Kind regards, Gill.
Lovely site close to Oban

A super site. It was close to Oban and you could get the ferry to mull on the Monday. Friendly staff and well laid out, the shop had all the essentials.
Convenient for Mull ferry

Convenient location as we had ferry booking next day. Grass pitches very wet and soft, unsuitable for motor home. Needed to be towed out but site staff very helpful. No nearby pub or restaurant so prepare to self cater.
Not impressed

First time at this site with a motorhome. No allocation of pitch, so first come, first served. The site was advertised as having drinking water. The water is in fact sourced directly from a spring and is not drinkable unless boiled. The site was advertised as having internet, which you might think means Wi-Fi. There is no Wi-Fi on site unless you stand outside reception, some 100 metres from the camping area. The camp was kept clean but the shower blocks were fairly basic. We've paid a lot less for better facilities. A mention for Nathan, one of the groundskeepers, who was very friend helpful.

Good site, bit wet because of recent rains. Nothing nearby, but beautiful views. About 3 miles from Oban.

Great location for accessing Oban ferries. We got a friendly greeting and sent off to the touring areas to find a spot. Unfortunately, as the weather has been rainy, it was very boggy on the side of the area and very churned up, so we had issues getting on. Great view for breakfast though.

Admittedly arrived during a very wet period, which affected grass pitches, so our booking was altered to hard standing. Nice play area close by, also toilet/shower facilities which were decent enough and shower was powerful and hot enough. Park is under relatively new ownership with plans to further improve site. Close enough to Oban centre but up a coast road with passing places. Would stay again.
Lovely site but needs better drainage or camper spots

Arrived at the site and reception also had a small shop, which was great. Unfortunately, the weather had been rather wet which meant that most of the pitches were very wet or churned up by vehicles. There was limited parking spots for vehicles who needed electrical supply. The facilities were clean and I found the showers to be the best of all of our recent stays. We were fortunate in even seeing some highland cows!

Nice spot. Very basic. No washer/dryer which didn't help as it rained the whole week! Bathroom dirty and cold.
Amazing, very helpful

A great site but not over sanitised, let's you feel you're still camping close to nature. Just enough facility to get by, you'll get drunk on the fresh air. I will be back.
Could be more convenient for campers

Plus side: lovely location and clean facilities. Minus side: only campsite we have come across in many which doesn't provide any facilities to freeze ice blocks. Also why provide only 2 washing up basins for all the campers, nowhere near enough for the number of tents/campers you accommodate. Not sure I'd recommend this site for camping alone.
Generally ok, but had to boil the water before drinking

Had to boil water before drinking. Not enough showers and toilets for the campers. Good location for Oban.
Nice campsite, well situated

Lovely place. Main camp area on a bit of a slope, so wasn't perfect. Would benefit from a few more showers for everyone. A warm welcome from the staff and otherwise a great short stay (apart from the rain 😀).

Really need to stop people wearing their outside footwear in the toilets as the amount of grass is absolutely horrible.

Busy site, well located for visiting Oban/Argyll/ the islands. Spent 5 nights under canvas with electric pitch. Kids enjoyed the site, which is good for families and kids who can make their own entertainment if they are a bit big for the playground on site. Would recommend and hoping to return in future.
Great break away

Star deducted as there's no fresh water available but apart from that, excellent camping site. Very flat, which is ideal when picking tent location, great washing facilities and toilets. Oban itself is a gorgeous place, costs around £8-£10 for a taxi as site is a bit far out with walking distance. Lovely sandy beach 5 mins drive away, ideal for kayaks and paddleboards.
