Things to do on site and in the Nottingham area
Guests can bring bikes and cycle the roads or bridle paths on the farm that lead to the River Trent or to local villages. Enjoy breakfast at the local garden centre (walkable from the farm) before walking the dog on the farm or the public footpaths.
You can book in horses too to use the facilities on the farm or just explore the area.
Fishing is also available on request. Otherwise, relax on the farm and in the hut and watch the birds feeding at your bird table. The farm ducks will make themselves known to you too as they wander past your huts each morning to and from the farm ponds.
Guests also enjoy visiting the local pubs in Oxton and Epperstone and many also head to Southwell and visit the shops, cafes and bars. The Southwell trail is also nearby - this is a converted old railway track that runs for miles where you can walk, cycle or ride.
The farm is also 30 minutes from Nottingham and Newark on Trent. You're close to Sherwood Forest with its fabulous cycle tracks, Sherwood Pines visitor centre, Rufford Abbey and Park as well as Clumber Park. Visit the historic Southwell Minster dating back to Norman times or The Workhouse a National Trust property all located in Southwell.
