Set in peaceful and green surroundings in the Vale of Belvoir, Janson Fishery Caravan and Camping is a calm space for adults only. There's coarse fishing available on the Pod Lake as well as on Tommo's Lake, carp into double figures and a Donut Pool which has a variety of species including barbel, ide and carp, crucian carp, gold and green tench, ideal for disabled anglers. An on site café serves up breakfast, drinks and more.
About Janson Fishery Caravan and Camping
This quiet site is situated in the glorious Vale of Belvoir and convenient for Belvoir Castle which hosts numerous events throughout the year. The borders of Nottinghamshire, Leicestersire, and Lincolnshire are all nearby. Onsite fishing provides a relaxing day, and the site's new lakeside development provides touring and glamping guests exclusive use of the lake. If you need an urban day out, Nottingham city centre is around 20 mins away and the market town of Bingham less than 10 minutes. Pitches range from grass to hardstanding, with plenty of electric available. You can also go the glam route in a cosy pod which includes heating, a kitchenette and ensuite facilities. Seasonal pitches are also available.
Camping and touring is available from March until the end of October. Glamping pods and hardstanding pitches are open all year.

Site rules and policies
Arrival Time: 2.00pm - 8.00pm. Late arrivals must contact us to arrange a greeting service.
Departure Time: 12 noon, (10:30 for pods). If you would like to fish on your day of departure, a later departure time may be agreed in advance.
Vehicles: Must be parked in the area next to your pitch. All vehicles are parked at the owners' risk. Janson Fishery cannot be held responsible for any accidents or theft while left on site. All visitors cars are to be left in the car park. No vehicle movements after 10:30pm, if returning after this time, please leave car in car park.
Pricing: Our prices include electric hook-up (where applicable), awning, water and use of the chemical waste disposal point.
Payment: All payments are to be made in full on arrival. No refunds are given for early departure or on deposits paid.
BBQ's: Barbeques are allowed provided that they are contained and are located a safe distance from your unit and raised 18" above the ground. If using a disposable BBQ then they should be placed on bricks so as not to damage the grass, please ask if you require any.
Fires: Open fires are strictly banned and not permitted anywhere on site.
Children: We have a minimum age of 12 years old for children on the campsite, this includes visitors.
Visitors: Please inform us if you are expecting visitors and limit the number of guests to two per unit.
Noise: We are a quiet site, please respect your neighbours and keep music and noise to an acceptable level. We have a strict no noise after 11:00pm policy.
Dogs: Well behaved dogs are welcomed, but must be kept on leads at all times. Please ensure that you clean up after them.

Things to do on site and in the Elton area
The main activity on site is coarse fishing, with matches held and several pools and lakes for anglers to test their skills in.
The Belvoir Castle is close by and is steeped in fascinating history. You'll also find the National Watersports Centre close at hand in Holme Pierrepont Country Park. It's the spot for kayaking and canoeing, a climbing wall and much more.
Newark Showground is in easy reach and hosts some great events, such as the The Newark Vintage Tractor Show and The Nottinghamshire County Show.
