What a lovely site. Big plots and you choose your own space. The toilets are flushing and were clean although sometimes lacked paper as the dispenser blocked. Lovely extras like the little snack hut and ability to rent fire pits. We will definitely be back.

Everyone was friendly and we had a good time for a night. My wife and I were hiking and came with no car, we needed a fire pit to cook but they ran out, the team were really helpful and they had an old tripod and a small grill which we used to cook in the end. It was frustrating that there wasn't enough and it was windy and cold at night so we had a challenging time getting the fire going and cooking etc. We had an early night due to the cold.

Lovely site nestled right against the woods. Decent sized and clearly marked pitches, clean toilets and showers. Friendly welcome from the owner, James, and the resident animals were a big hit with the kids. Cafe and pizza were available on busier days- reasonably priced and good quality. Convenient drive (15 mins) from Canterbury. Youngest member of the family has already asked to go back!!

Lovely little sport located between Canterbury and Whitstable. We stayed with our 11 month old and had a great time - he loved the animals! Facilities are basic but for £20 a night, you get toilets (with toilet paper!) and a hot shower, which is great. The café is really a real bonus (weekends only) and being able to hire a fire pit and logs took loads of faff out of having to pack them. James was an excellent host, working hard to help all on site. We cycled into Canterbury through the forest and it was a 15 min drive to Whitstable, so really convenient.

A nice, new and up & coming site! I took my young daughter and we really enjoyed the two nights. My daughter loved feeding the animals and the home-made pizzas from the site's café/pizza oven :-). Recommend this site to anyone, a great way to relax and at a great price!
Great campsite, we will be returning

First time staying at Brook Farm We enjoyed our stay. We went for a walk through the woods, visited and fed the animals on the site. Nice warm showers. Handy café on site too. And if you fancy, there is a pub around 1.5 miles away. Friendly staff. We will definitely go back there.
Pretty, needs some improving though

The positives are, lovely setting with beautiful wood behind, perfect for families with young children. Things that need improving are toilet, shower and washing up facilities. Only cold water in sinks, no paper towels or dryer. The toilet roll dispensers were often jammed. We showered at quiet time as heard other guests complaining about cold water. Shower floors need cleaning. Handles are a bit too high for kids to lock and there is no way to tell if anyone is in there without turning the handle. Washing up facilities are two outside sinks that were often blocked, maybe a bin for food scraps might help. There are pizzas available but need ordering in advance. I did speak to the owner, I think maybe staff need a bit more training and need to be around more to check things are clean and working. It is a nice setting and perfectly located but I am not sure we would return.

Absolutely fantastic. We had a lovely family long weekend here. The lodge was so cosy, clean and comfortable. James was an awesome host who provided us we a load of goodies including marshmallows which our 3 year old loved toasting on the fire pit in the evenings. The farm was beautiful and we loved the fact that we could feed the animals here (a big thumbs up 👍🏻) Thank you so much for having us. Rachael, Jason and Izzy

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in meadow lodge at Brook Farm. James was an excellent host, friendly and helpful. We had lovely pizzas from his wood fired oven and crepes at his little cafe. The site is right by the woods, perfect for dog walking. The lodge was well appointed and cozy even over night. The shower was hot. Even had a little enclosed garden so dog could be off the lead. Had a great time, would highly recommend it, we will definitely be going back.

Would recommend this park, lovely setting and well situated for visits to Whitstable and Canterbury, both around 15 min drive away. Broadstairs, a lovely, lovely place, is around a 35 minute drive away! I wouldn't bother with Margate as it has lovely beach, but is a bit run down. Toilets and showers on site very basic, bins overflowing but again lovely setting.

Well positioned for our cycle to Whitstable and has very extensive wooded area for walks next to site. Showers are electric heated type so vary from stone cold to excessively hot during your shower. Reasonable price for non-electric pitch, but those with electric (larger?) are overpriced. Too many dogs for our liking, but onsite café hut serving breakfasts and pizza is a bonus.
Great little site!

We had a lovely stay at Brook Farm. On arrival we were greeted by James who was informative, helpful and friendly. We found the facilities to be as you would expect at a campsite. The only criticism I have is that the sheep that are kept there are in an enclosure which I think is too small for them with little shelter. The plinth that is in there offers no shade from the sun and doesn't shelter the sheep from the rain/ wind. Also the sheep need to have hay to supplement their feeding as the grass is so dry from the heat. Also I think the lovely Guinea pig should have a friend in there with him as Guinea pigs are social animals that should at least be in a pair. Apart from that, we enjoyed staying at the campsite and would recommend.
Site's response
Really enjoyed having you here at Brook Farm and glad you had a good stay Hannah. If I'm able to address and explain the animals, that'd be great as I don't want people thinking they're not cared for! The sheep are rotated between paddocks to ensure they always have young sugary grass to eat. Further to this, I don't know if you noticed, but they had a mineral/sugar lick underneath their field shelter to top up any deficiencies. As well as lamb nuts nearly every day, we provide hay for them in winter, however hay is just dried out grass so what they've got in their current paddock is perfect to chomp on! The 2m x 2m field shelter does offer shade and due to their woolly fleeces, they are absolutely fine come rain or shine, although you'll often see them hiding from the rain under it! Our resident guinea pig Elvis is soon to be introduced to a potential new friend, however it's better to introduce them slowly and in a low stress environment, so felt it would be better to hold off until this week when it quietens down a little. Really glad you enjoyed your stay and we all hope to see you again soon :)

First time using this site as our usual Whitstable site has now closed. We loved the site and the location. The pizzas upon arrival were a big hit for us and loved the fire pit and logs. The toilets and showers were clean and did the job.The cafe was open both mornings serving lovely coffees and teas, but no food. The location was ideal as we left car and used local taxi firm to ferry us to Whitstable- only £12 each way. Would recommend site. Good luck to Arby and the team for the future. We will be returning next year.

This is such a peaceful location. I often take books to read and find I'm instead just sitting, soaking up the countryside. It's also right next to some woods, which makes for a nice walk if it's too hot. Toilets and showers are in an open barn type structure, so expect some wildlife - including showering with starlings (?) flying in and out over your head. Owners are very friendly. Nice little cafe on site that also has a large stone pizza oven where you book a pizza and have it delivered to your tent. There are also a few pens of chickens and sheep, which the kids seem to especially enjoy. This was my third visit. So lucky to have such a lovely site so close by.
Very welcoming
