About Daphne's Orchard
People have stayed at Daphne's Orchard for a few years now, and many return year after year! The site is found at one end of a quiet village with thatched cottages and a welcoming village pub. It's a place to experience country life and a great location if you'd like to go off and explore. The pond is a focal point of the orchard with its abundance of wildlife, and if you sit very still, you might even see kingfishers. Nestled into your relaxing spot, it's easy to forget that you're close to all major road routes, and just a mile and a half from junction 24 off the M1. For the jetsetters, East Midlands Airport is just 3 miles away. While this is a tranquil space, there could occasionally be some distant sounds from these at peak times. For those bringing their own tent, caravan or motorhome, there are a number of excellent hardstanding and grass pitches with some electric hook-ups, on a spacious field.
