Golden Valley Caravan Park is a family owned and pet friendly holiday park, set in 26 acres of historic woodland in Amber Valley in the heart of Derbyshire. Set just off the M1, you'll have a wide selection of pitch options for your camping, caravan or motorhome trip, plus a pod if you fancy treating yourself. From there, turn your attention to the stunning Derbyshire Dales and Peaks.
About Golden Valley Caravan Park
This is a family orientated park, located in historic woodland in the beautiful hamlet of Golden Valley, nestling along side the Cromford Canal. The site is a short distance from Ripley, Heanor and Alfreton. There are more than 150 spacious camping and touring pitches, offered both with and without electric hook-up. Touring pitches are on hardstanding, with camping pitches on grass (this is woodland though, so pitches aren't flat and level like a bowling green!). The campsite has plenty of room for you to find a perfect spot to pitch a tent, and plenty of space for the kids to play in. If you are sensitive to road noise, the team recommend asking to book in the top wood tent area. In addition, there is a wooden camping pod, set in peaceful woodland. It offers insulation, a double glazed window and a cosy wooden space to sleep two. Inside you'll have electricity and lighting, plus a table, chairs and comfortable mattress.
