Caldbeck Camping is an ideal stop-off for those taking on the great Cumbrian Way. Tents and trailer tents are welcome on the site's 13 grass pitches, three of which have electric hook ups. For those who prefer glamping, adults are also welcome in the cosy bell tent. Situated in the Northern Lake District and within easy reach of the northerly fells of High Pike and Carrock Fell, this is a great spot for those wanting to explore the outdoors!

Very good, clean site and owners were very nice and helpful. Nice large pitches with their own picnic bench and fire pit. Loads of lovely walks and a beautiful village. Would definitely go back.

My friend and I stayed a night on our way up to Scotland. We arrived and the owner was there to meet us. She showed us our pitch and supplied us with logs (at a reasonable price) to use in the fire pit provided. Lovely, quiet site with friendly people. The showers were amazing and clean, toilets too.

Good campsite, clean facilities, owner available if needed, peaceful location but in a village and great for walking and good for dogs.

Beautiful campsite by a river that has a deep area for kids to swim, and a shallow area for me and the dogs to paddle and cool down. The site is lovely. The showers and toilets are very clean and there is an area for washing up.

Not a large site but that adds to the character. Nice simple place, quiet and relaxed. Hot showers and running water plenty with views of sheep and a stream. Pitches are either side of an access track. Village has nice facilities too.
