Wonderful campsite, gorgeous views with a lovely little walk to the local pub. Great facilities with a fab little shop and hard working staff. Loved our stay and felt very welcome! Inclusive to families and to our dog, she loved a ball throw in their dog area. Our little boy loved looking at the chickens in the morning.

Very good site. Quiet and remote, but with very good facilities. Very helpful receptionist who pointed out where things were. Logs for sale to use in the old wheels used for camp fires. Some essential supplies in a fridge operating on an honesty box basis (i.e. eggs, cheese, bacon, bread rolls etc), covered sink area for washing pots and pans etc and a good toilet area with separate men's and women's facilities with a great, hot shower. Looks like there was a washing machine available for use, though didn't try it. About 20 minutes drive to Keswick, so handy for that. Overall a very good 3 night stay, would happily return.

Booked 2 nights here at short notice for myself and my partner and our 4m bell tent. When we arrived the manager of the site gave us a warm welcome and a rundown of the rules. She was very informative and happy to help us with any queries we had, and she directed us to some of the local peaks when we asked. We would definitely stay here again as it was good value for money, very clean and well maintained. Thanks for hosting us, we had a great weekend!

Lovely site. Really quiet and having a fire pit is great. Pitches are big and toilets are clean. Great as a base for walking and cycling with a pub a short walk down the road.

Lovely little campsite with great facilities. Great Location for Northern Fells and Keswick. Great pub less than a mile away. All pitches provided with a firepit and firewood available on site. Covered social and cooking area a great idea for people in smaller tents. Would definitely use again.

Awesome campsite. Views are amazing from every angle. Super quiet at night, and if you have clear skies you are in for a treat as they should be asking for dark sky status. Plenty of room on site. Greeted by the staff on arrival who were lovely and friendly. Excellent bathroom block. Toilets regularly cleaned and a nice hot shower. Easy to get to once you know where it is. I would recommend better directions as the post code covers quite a long stretch of 1 track road. But the site itself was absolute brilliant.

Hi Dan, thank you so much for your lovely review! We really do appreciate this. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay here and hopefully we'll see you again soon. Great advice about the directions though, I'll make sure people are emailed a good description rather than following the postcode for satnavs. Thank you again :)
