We had an amazing stay here and will definitely be returning in the future. We were greeted at the farmhouse by Sean on arrival who gave us a tour of the facilities and showed us to our pitch. We were offered a couple of pitches to choose from. which was great. I can't commend Sean enough he was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to ensure we were happy and had everything we needed for a fun and enjoyable stay!

If you like wild camping this is perfect for you, pick the forest plots and you get nothing nut peace and quiet, shade from the sun and nothing else. The facilities are basic and clean, but more than adequate. The staff are very friendly and could not be more helpful. The only criticism would be that the car park and communal areas could do with a good tidy up as there are things lying around all over, but that is a minor criticism. Highly recommend!

A great site. I prefer to be secluded when I'm camping, and they gave me this amazing hidden pitch in the woodlands. Waking up in the woods to the sound of birds and a gentle stream was bliss.
Love it!

Stayed in the woodland plots, which were beautiful. Toilet and shower block on site, fire pits, firewood and food available on site! Planning to come back whenever I am in the area.

We stayed from Monday to Wednesday in a forest pitch. We had friends who booked separately and they found us a pitch which could accommodate everyone. Amazing site with showers, places to wash up and toilets open 24/7, just a short walk from our pitch. As this is an isolated spot, there is limited phone service. From our group of 6, only 2 had service on EE and 3. I'm with O2 and got no service on the site for the whole stay, but that was a good thing in my opinion!

Firstly, we received a lovely welcome from the staff and owner. The pitches are very private and quite flat. We had the unexpected surprise of good warm showers. They're new this year. The site is quiet and peaceful with a relaxed, easy going atmosphere. The scenery is fabulous being in a forest right on the estuary. And there's wildlife galore. There are cheaper sites around but they don't offer the privacy or experience of woodland camping.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Location is nice and peaceful but not far out from Bala, Barmouth etc. Anything we needed was available and as per details, the wash/toilet facilities are a work in progress but some available and working fine. Wood, water, and soft drinks were all easy to obtain. We will be back for sure! Thanks again.

If, like us, you prefer your own space to unwind from society then this campsite is an absolute gem. Adrian, the site owner, couldn't be more accommodating to any request you may have and is often found walking around the site should you require any of the on site facilities/services they have on offer. The pitch itself is well kept, private and very natural which are well spread out from neighbouring pitches. It's also easy to access walks, lakes or even the sea on foot as well as a local pub just a 30 minute walk. To summarise - fantastic site, fantastic facilities, great staff - nice to see the money is being put back in to the site for improvements and additions! We will 100% be back.

My favourite campsite ever. It offers camping spots for tents and vans essentially in the woods, surrounded by nature, trees and bluebell woods. Also has open field camping. A relatively new site so facilities are still being built (Apr 22) but these should be completed soon. Fire-pits & BBQ's available to hire. Loved the easy access to beautiful walks straight from the campsite down to the Mawddach Estuary. A lovely owner who is clearly passionate about the area.

Beautiful location! Very friendly owners. Went for a long weekend trip and this campsite was ideal for us to explore the national parks and trails nearby. Facilities were basic (just toilets) but showers were being built whilst we were there :) loved the chickens and horses!!
Lovely site but expensive for a single person

It's a lovely site, right next to Mawddach Trail, and easy to get to and from on foot. Adrian, who was on site, was very kind and helpful and found the best spot to be safe from the storm but still with pleasant surroundings. He also gave me his personal mobile number in case of problems - the choice of location proved excellent as I was quite sheltered in the very high winds. The site was very unspoilt and mostly wooded, and even in bad weather there were lots of birds around, and beautiful views. There are 2 RSPB reserves in walking distance, a great pub at Penmaenpool, plus lots of wonderful hill and estuary walks which I would love to explore more. I saw no signs of litter or damage anywhere, and the toilet block was very clean. The only catch for me as a single person, is the requirement to pay for a minimum of two people, which doubled the cost to £50 for 2 nights - this seems very steep for a site with minimal facilities, and especially considering there was hardly anyone else on the site anyway. I loved the site and the situation, but sadly I do not think I could return at that price, as my income will shortly drop as I retire.
Loved it, perfect New Year stay
