St Helens in the Park Reviews

Lovely stay

Last minute booking so not expecting anything special, but we were pleasantly surprised! Unfortunately, only a gravel pitch was available, which, unless you have sturdy pegs for awnings, are tough to get through. Beautifully kept park, friendly staff, excellent cafe (try the garlic bread on pizza night!). Only downside is the toilets weren't massively clean. Other than that, a really lovely stay.

Not too impressed

I was disappointed with many things, the cost was expensive at £133 for three nights, plus electricity. They charged £3.50 per dog and I have two. I couldn't believe I paid £12.25 for a bottle of standard Merlot in the shop. I hated the shared wash facilities, cubicles where you shared with people that did not necessarily have any hygiene standards. We booked what we thought was an adult's only section, only to have kids trying to ride their bikes through our grass area. Not impressed.

Amazing! Must go there!

Honestly, such a beautiful park. Amazing location, just enough. The children's play park is very good and big! The park itself is very peaceful and relaxing. The shower/toilet blocks were the best we have seen, modern, clean individual bathrooms which are great. The onsite cafe is great and their pizzas (Thursday and Saturday evenings) are so good. Can't wait to go back next year!

Lovely site

Lovely site, very well looked after. Toilet block very clean with individual rooms of toilet sink and showers giving lots of room. Onsite cafe really good, friendly, family run, lovely fresh cooked food and good coffee. Only downside to our stay was a dog in caravan next to us that barked day and night. Would recommend this site for enjoying Scarborough and surrounding areas.

Beautiful site

Wonderful stay. Site is well kept and pretty. Excellent facilities, everything is catered for. Great value. Extremely peaceful. Our pitch was a standard full service pitch. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back.

Very neat site

New toilet and shower facilities, excellent that you are due for updating. Very handy for Scarborough or Pickering. This is a very nice site. Staff very helpful and polite. The new toilet block is exceptional. Could do with a better extraction fan as it did steam up a bit.

One of the best!

One of the best sites I've ever been on for facilities and standards in general. The ease of booking in and the friendliness of the staff was excellent. Café superb. If you're looking for a site in this area, look no further, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely site

Lovely, well kept site. We were in adults only but it was so quiet and peaceful. Nice park area for children, lovely little café on site, launderette and good pot washing facilities. Only downside was that the site is a little way out of Scarborough. There is a bus stop outside site but not a good service. Would stay there again.

Fantastic site

Simply one of the best sites we've been lucky to visit. Great facilities and staff friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets were excellent and very clean as was all of the site. Can't wait to to return, highly recommend.

Fantastic site an absolute gem

Fabulous site and staff are so friendly. The site is on different levels which makes the site much more interesting. There is a lovely little shop and a lovely cafeteria offering themed food nights. Altogether a wonderful stay, shower and toilet facilities spotless. A fantastic addition of a professional dog bath and dog drier for when your furry friends get muddy.

So nice and peaceful

It was our first time caravanning and we were made to feel so welcome by everyone onsite. The site was exceptionally well kept and clean. Plenty to do as couples, for the dog and with children. We loved it so much we decided to leave the van there in the storage facility.

Good site to be on

The site was great, perfect for what we needed. Showers and toilets was immaculate, they also had good working, powerful hair dryers, which were free to use. The site was nice and peaceful. Will be booking again next year. The park available for children had lots of different things to do. We didn't take our children but they would have loved the park if we did.
