We had a great time with our 2 granddaughters, we only managed to stay one night as we got caught up in traffic by an accident but enjoyed the night we did stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and we got a bit of a later check out as the girls had been flower girls at a wedding in Elgin. The girls enjoyed the hot tub and sheep, and there's a great play area for the kids. We could have explored more but we had a long drive home but would definitely recommend 😊

Great site with cosy pods, perfect for families. Lots to do for kids, play park, woods walks, goats to feed, great games barn. Toilets, showers and kitchen facilities are great.

Nice setting but could do with some improvements, such as better washing facilities. There was a strong smell of urine. A small shelf to place toiletries when washing would be good. It can be a bit of a walk to the toilet, even small lighting along the path would be good.

Sorry to hear you don't seem to have enjoyed your stay. With regard to lighting onsite, we do recommend in the pre-arrival email and information that guests bring a torch as for guest enjoyment generally, we do try to keep lighting at a minimum so people can enjoy our beautiful starry skies, the Northern Lights and peace around a campfire without having rest or sleep disturbed by bright onsite lights. We are a rural farm site and we want guests to enjoy the peace and feeling of rest and relaxation in nature while they are with us. Most guests also find our facilities in toilets and showers to be very good and clean, so your comments on smell seem a little unusual and I can only apologise if there was an issue during your stay. We do ask guests to let us know of any issues so we can sort this out while they are onsite and all guests receive a map with contact numbers for any issues/emergencies. We have toilets and showers available in 3 locations on the campsite to reduce any long walk at night, if you had needed a pitch closer to the toilets we would have accommodated if possible if we had been made aware that a walk would be an issue. We also have washing up and handwashing sinks located in 5 locations onsite on the campsite, sorry you didn't seem to find these, I'll try to adapt our map to make this easier to locate.

Beautiful location and friendly owners. Had such a lovely time, the plot we had was brilliant, felt private despite being close to lots of others, the woodland area is beautiful, lovely walks surrounding the site. Very close to corner shops, petrol stations, and supermarkets, also very close to lots of fun and interesting places to visit.

Great location, with loads to do in the immediate area, and even more further out with Inverness less than 60 mins away. Facilities are awesome. The toilets/ showers were always clean and tidy, the kitchen area was immaculate with a microwave, hob, kettle and toaster free to use, with the added addition of a freezer to freeze ice packs for the cool box, sink and washing up facilities included too. The pitch itself was huge, enough space for a 7.5x3m tent and the car parked next to it and still space to sit outside. Lots of farmers tracks to walk round, and there is a kids playground, which mine used through the stay.

The site was really clean and tidy as was the pod, bothy and toilets. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The only down side was we were expecting to use activities like the quad bikes and laser tag, only to be advised this hasn't been available since 2020. Other than this, it was a lovely relaxing few days on a working farm.

Our online welcome pack contains lots of information on activities in the local area as we do want guests to be able to enjoy a variety of lovely things in the local area as sadly we did close our activity centre when COVID hit, we have tried to make his clear but sadly it's not possible to delete pictures and reviews from some online review sites retrospectively (we have tried), I'm glad this did not affect your enjoyment of your stay. We could not find our booking in the post box when we arrived, but this was dealt with quickly and easily with a phone call. The facilities were immaculate and as we were almost the only people on site using them there were no issues. I would not choose to use this site at a busier time of year as the number of toilets/showers, I feel is inadequate for the number of pitches. I might use the site again as a one night stopover due to the convenience of its location.

As you were the just about the only guests onsite, we did only have one toilet and shower open for you and the other guest onsite during your stay, but there are other toilets and showers in the facilities located next to the pitches you were in, an additional toilet and shower block and additional toilets and showers located at the far end of the campsite for our summer season pitches, and additional toilets and showers at the main building. So fear not, there are more toilets and showers (we exceed the numbers required for the pitches that we have, we just open these as occupancy requires). I hope we can welcome you again at quieter or busier times and you can enjoy more of our lovely area on your future adventures. Once again, thank you.

A nice, quiet campsite. Very clean and in a great location for going off exploring. The entrance to the site looks a little run down, but once you're in, it's lovely and clean with great views.

Thanks for your forgiveness of our messy farm entrance, as a working farm and at the start of the season, we have a bit of tidying up to do, but we will get there soon with the brighter weather arriving. Hopefully next time you visit, you will notice an improvement. I have been out with my team and we have been tidying up already. A lovely campsite that is well maintained and a great location for relaxing and sightseeing. I definitely recommend it. I knocked one star off only due to an issue where we did not receive the welcome pack in any email. The result was we twice got grumped at for things we didn't know and yet kept being told it's in the email. Many thanks to V for a lovely chat checking some details prior to our visit.

I have checked my records and it was sent on the 18th July a few days before your stay. I hope we can welcome you again. I'll be sure to work on my pre-arrival email and see what we can do to stop it being marked as spam. We really do want guests to have all the information in advance as there is so much to see and do locally.

1 night stay with no midges in sight. Looked forward to this since we booked it. Got aquatinted with Grigor, lovely man, good banter and very down to earth. Site had everything we needed, facilities were excellent and clean. Will be back.
