Probably the best site we've been to. Stunning views in every direction. Clean and modern facilities. Lovely part for the kids. Nothing to dislike. We will definitely be back.

This site is one of the best we have stayed at. The facilities are fantastic, everything you could want on one site. Everywhere is super clean and well kept. Our one and only criticism is that there isn't much protection for your tent from the wind and boy, it's windy! I wish there were some hedges between the pitches just to take some of the gales. Our air tent held up well, but several people had broken poles. It wasn't enough to put us off though. We are thinking about returning next year.
Site's response
Thank you for your feedback. It is well advertised that our camping pitches and park are located on a Jurassic Coast clifftop, which gives them stunning views. But it does mean that on a rare occasion they are exposed to the wind during adverse weather. We regularly check forecasts and have procedures in place at these times which include emailing and/or texting advisory messages to guests asking them to prepare for stronger winds by ensuring tents are securely fastened down and we sell storm pegs in the SPAR for this purpose. When very strong winds are forecast, we contact guests about rearranging their bookings. On rare occasions, we are caught out when forecasts change at the last minute. We also have team members on-hand 24/7 to help and advise guests. These procedures affect a tiny proportion of bookings and we are sorry that you were one of these affected bookings. Please know that this is not the usual experience our camping guests get and we hope you will return to the park in the future for our usual 5 star experience. Thank you.

I feel like the food and drink is over priced. If it was more reasonable, we would have used it more often.

Thank you very much for your feedback. Martin's Bar is an excellent place to eat: Our Sunday Roast on the coast (booking essential) is delicious and excellent value as you can opt for a different size plate, also the Curry night on a Tuesday the same. You are welcome to purchase a Martin's Loyalty card for £5 which entitles you to 10% off food and drinks, easily paying for itself very quickly. Also we have a happy hour for cocktails every day from 3-6 pm. Or there is the village pub the New Inn and also the Admiral's Bar, both within a 2-minute walk from the park entrance.

The site was clean, as were the toilets and showers. The radio in there was a nice touch and a big bonus was that the bar was dog friendly, the grandkids loved it!

What a great campsite catering for all campers. Big pitches, great amenities and 'Roast on the coast', which was like a proper home cooked roast. They even set up the bar area for the Euros final, which was great and such a great atmosphere. We look forward to coming back.

This site is located on a high point, affording lovely views of the beach at Eype and the countryside. The facilities on site provide everything you need for a relaxing break, including a health spa. Washing facilities are spotless and plentiful, the Spar shop provides most needs and Martin's bar and restaurant is handy for a full meal or snack. Bridport is only a 20-30 minute walk and West Bay easily reached on the South West Coastal path only 0.5 miles away. As this was our first foray with a campervan, I wish the one way system was better defined and extended to the lower reaches, as it was easy to meet someone coming the other way making reversing a necessity. Otherwise an excellent choice for anyone.

Best suited if you have a vehicle under 6m long so you can get more off site & parked up in proper carparks. Having said that, the walk to West Bay was not too bad but it was a very country footpath & bus service is once a hour going in either direction (Axminster to Weymouth - stunning views on Weymouth road). Taxi from Bridport taxi rank back to site is under a tenner. Watch out though, Bridport market is Wednesday and Saturday and the bus gets very busy. We've had very mixed weather - very windy, rainy but also some sun (warm when the wind drops). Good site if you have social dogs. Great dog walking field although it looks steep.

Very clean. Great showers and toilets (plenty of them). Lots of space. Field a little sloped but overall comfortable and quiet. Walks to West Bay and Eype very manageable but hilly on the way back! Restaurant good and great drinks choices. Spa quite expensive but well stocked. Will definitely come back again!

We stayed at this park with our dogs. Arrival was smooth as no need to check in due to car reg recognition on entry barrier. We could choose our pitch in the area we had booked when we arrived and we had plenty of choice but even if busy, each pitch seems to be designed to have a good view and plenty of space. Toilets and shower blocks were kept very clean and the dog exercise field was great. The site even provided an outdoor dog shower with warm water, which was perfect for pooches after various beach walks. The bar and restaurant were also very welcoming, with specified dog areas and garden with a children's play area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

A perfect location and a very well laid out park, with all the amenities you need. There was some confusion as to whether the restaurant was open out of main season but otherwise 100%.The dog exercise field was great, it was large, sloping and some long grass. It was great to wear the dogs out.

Had a lovely stay on the whole - cannot fault the site at all. Only reason not 5 stars is due to 2 small things. The military carry out night-time operations and helicopters were frequently flying overhead after dark and on occasion this would be followed by what I can only describe as heavy machine-gun fire, albeit a good distance away at sea. Comes with the area I guess as lots of gunnery ranges and army training areas locally. Didn't expect it at night however! The site was very 'busy' as in there was constant mowing, strimming going on. Could be time of year. There was also a lot of people wandering about between caravans - I think maybe a club was present. Had we not been right in the middle of this group (we probably could have moved), it wouldn't have been a problem but at times it felt like it was rush hour!! Not a problem but if you're looking to be sociable with other campers, it's a bonus I guess! Yes will return. Lovely pub and pool onsite. Check pool times ahead as their website isn't very clear.

A very well kept site with good facilities and cleanliness. Superb position on the cliff top with some great, albeit steep walks and great views. Local beaches not ideal for our particular dogs as too shingly, but the onsite enclosed dog run was excellent, best we have seen and saved the day as our lurchers like to run, a lot!
