Walnut Farm is a small family run site surrounded by fields and wildlife, offering touring pitches, glamping and self catering accommodation. There is a great range of grass pitches with and without electric for campers and tourers as well as hard-standings for touring in the winter. Or leave the tent at home and stay in one of the cosy glamping yurts. Enjoy a day of sea swimming and seal watching, as the beach is only a short walk away!

Great location with a lovely walk down to the beach where you can see loads of seals. Good, flat and dry pitches. Good clean facilities. I feel the facilities would be very busy in the summer when all the grass pitches are in use unless there are a number of others that are closed off out of season.

A very pleasant site in a idyllic location, near the sea and beautiful countryside. The site owner was very welcoming. The facilities were good and super clean, but there was no heating on at this time of the year and the laundry was closed. We visited out of season and there was only one other couple on site, I would certainly like to go again.
Site's response
Hi Liz, Thank you for your review, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us, and would like to return. We are slightly confused by a couple of your comments though. You say that there is no heating in the facilities, yet each shower room has a heated towel rail on 24/7. We are also unsure as to why you think the laundry was closed, as it is open 24/7, 365 days a year. Hopefully see you again. Kind regards Mark & Helen

A very good location, there is a path that leads to the beach (1km). A good place to start walks or bike rides. Very clean pitches and facilities, the two pitches on gravel and the rest on asphalt, very small. Apart from one, all other water points need a very long hose. Basic, black, water waste point. I did not find grey water waste point. The showers are charged as extra, one toilet and one sink for dishes (winter time). Positives: very quiet, close to the beach, felt secure.

Lovely two night break to view seals and relax . Arrived at site at 7pm, we checked in and were left to ourselves until we left at 10am on departure day. There were some lovely walks from the site and I would definitely stay again.

Excellent place for a few nights away, we walked to Waxham and Horsey Gap to see the seals. The only thing you need is a car to get to any pub for a meal, as they're not in walking distance. I would visit again, thanks.
Bliss!

Absolutely lovely and peaceful, just what we needed. Beautiful facilities, in fact the best facilities we have ever had on a campsite in all our years of travelling. Great hosts! We will definitely be back!

A really nice place, with wide pitches and we used the electric hook up. The showers are clean and the cards to use them are £1 for 10 minutes, which was plenty. There was lots of wildlife around, but it didn't bother our dog. Would recommend.

We had a really lovely stay here in Norfolk. It was a great campsite, the perfect location to the beach and the campsite owner was so helpful in helping us move the caravan. A very friendly and organised campsite, I would highly recommend.

Fantastic site, which is very remote and quiet. Walking distance to the beaches, and Poppylands. Really enjoyable stay.

Very clean toilets and showers. Very pleasant location, good, flat and large pitch. Cannot be faulted apart from no wifi access.

Was perfect for our requirements. My only criticism would be that of the 3 showers, only 1 delivered consistently warm water at a decent pressure. The other 2 consistently went from cold to scolding hot and with little pressure. I would not risk putting a young child in one of those 2 units. Other than that, quiet, clean and friendly 👍👍

Nice site, convenient for beach, nice touch of pond and goats for children to look at near washing up and reception. Only downsides - Toilets quite a long way from the summer field but this is shown on the site map available before arrival. Shower we had was burning hot or freezing cold, making washing kids almost impossible. Screams I heard from other showers suggest it wasn't just a dodgy one we chose.
Lovely location, away from the crowds

Lovely location, quiet and lots of space when I was there. Perhaps a little overpriced considering I did not have hook up and you paid extra for a shower.
Almost perfect

This would have been 5 stars except for the unisex showers and toilets, which could do with a bit of a scrub and update. Washing machine was a real bonus and a quick 30 minute was just £2. The smart shower card, pre- loaded with money, takes £1 for a 10 minute shower, but the water pressure wasn't great so with thick hair needing 2 washes and conditioner, I needed the whole 10 minutes. We loved the site, protected from wind and very close to the beach. The 3k circular walk was fabulous. Checkout the Dunes café nearby for the best crab sandwiches!

Walnut Farm is a fantastic site with great facilities and large pitches, spread over a few fields. The bathrooms are family rooms and were clean and warm, worth the £1 for the shower. Lovely circular walk around the owners land, and direct access to the beach and coastal walks. We will definitely go back.

Enjoyed our stay very much. No one can help the weather, which was atrocious, making walking underfoot hazardous,
