Tanner Farm Park is nestled in a tranquil setting by the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's ideally located in rolling Wealden countryside, surrounded by picturesque villages, orchards and woodland - yet within an easy drive of Kent's sandy beaches, castles and activities to suit every age. There are two great play areas and open spaces meaning there is plenty to keep the little ones busy!

We have used Tanner Farm for a number of years and have always enjoyed a lovely peaceful stay. The location is good for access to all of Kent and I would recommend this site willingly to anyone that wants to explore the area.

Only 1 night, wish it could've been more. A warm welcome in the reception. A well located pitch with water and an electric hook-up. Peace and quiet apart from, as promised, the hoot of an owl or two. Wonderful.

2 night stay in late Sept - quiet site, loads of empty spaces, well maintained. 2 small playgrounds, water tap next to pitch. Only issue is the tightness of the roads/tracks - very thin trying to get a twin-axle into/out of pitch.
Site's response
Thank you for your review, we are pleased you enjoyed you stay with us. When you next stay with us, please contact the reception team who will be able to allocate a pitch that will be easier for you to access.

Arrived and was greeted at reception by a very polite girl. She was very helpful and told us where the pitch was on the map. We were allocated pitch 92. This is at the rear of the reception building. Half of the reception building is accommodation used by the park staff, along with two static caravans. Unfortunately, we had to put up with a 'yappy' dog constantly barking for 2 hours each night from this building, until 21:30, along with the smell of cigarette smoke filling my motorhome/awning, coming from the static caravans area. As there was a Tanner Park Farm van parked outside this building/caravans, I assume they were occupied by park staff. I was up early (05:30) each day with the dog and walked the many paths through the fields around the park, along the river. The trails went on for miles and were accessed from the campsite, which made it great. Filling the walls, I was the only person in the showers at 07:00 each day and the water pressure was nearly non-existent. I actually burnt my arm off of the hot pipe trying to get under the water to rinse my head and body. The 2nd day had slightly more pressure, so I was able to rinse off without hugging the wall. My daughter and wife experienced the same in the ladies. The facilities were clean and the water was hot which was good. The park was really clean and nicely laid out. The pitch was spacious for the van and side awning/tent. It had a tap for water hook up and electric hook up. There was a waste drain in the corner of the pitch as well. The bins and toilet waste areas were well set out and recycling was encouraged. 3 lovely ladies did a BBQ and food spread on Saturday evening with a burger, sausage, wings, salad, veg skewer, coleslaw, fried onions and much more for £15 a head, including a pot of local ice cream and a can of pop/bottle of water. Great service, great food, good price. The shop stocked essentials and camping equipment for anything that you might have forgotten. Scotney Castle is located close by which is stunning and well worth a visit. It is a National Trust site. Royal Tunbridge Wells is nearby (14 miles drive) to get to bigger shops if needed.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We do pride ourselves on our customer service and the maintenance of the park so appreciate lovely comments about this from us guests. We are sorry you experienced some disturbance from the young puppy, this is at times unavoidable when being on a very dog friendly park and owners acquire a new pet that they are training. We hope to see you back on our park soon.

Really clean and tidy campsite, everyone respected the grounds - I didn't see any rubbish on the ground at all. The toilets and showers were really clean and hot. Nice choice of plots.

Great campsite for our first ever stay in our new motorhome. The space was lovely and clean, with great facilities - including 2 small play areas for children. The only downside was there are no pubs/restaurants you can walk to off-road, with children. We took a walk through the public footway to local Lady's Den Farm, but it wasn't an easy route to navigate with a baby in a buggy and 2 kids on bikes. Would definitely recommend the site though, great little on site shop, with really friendly staff. A lovely big field for the kids to roam free in and ride their bikes without having to worry they could escape anywhere.

We ha a lovely holiday in Kent. Tanner Farm park was perfect location for us with so many places to visit within 35-45mins. Lots of space, a lovely walk from the site for the dogs, and so tranquil we could listen to the birds singing. We found a great secure dog field less than 15 mins away so that the dogs could run off lead to make up for onlead walks the rest of the time. The dogs struggled with the numerous squirrels a bit, but we enjoyed watching them, especially the albino one.
Site's response
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am glad you enjoyed the tranquil nature of our site it is a lovely location. The squirrels do seem to be on mass this year but the albino is so cute to see running around. We look forward to welcoming you again.

On the whole, a great campsite, very tranquil and peaceful. Really enjoyed the time we spent there. There is very limited network coverage which meant we had to use the Wi-Fi service. I was told it was a new service and new equipment, plus you have to pay for it. Unfortunately, didn't work most of the time for us, cutting in and out, extremely slow, considering how much it was costing. Worth a visit though as lots of place around to visit.
Site's response
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry that you experienced some issues with our new WI-FI system, we have relayed this information back to the supplier to investigate. We are glad you enjoyed the park and our location and look forward to welcoming you again.

I'm not a camper but the family recently purchased a motorhome and we decided to try it out. This place is fab - really quiet and civilised with a good amount of open space and really good facilities for a campsite. Great location (we are fairly local so didn't explore as we could have done!) but of all the campsites I've visited over the years, this one is hands down the best!

It is a very neat and spacious site, well maintained, staff friendly and helpful. We arrived late at 20:15 but there was no answer on the emergency number to advise them we were running late on the way down due to M25 issues, but when we rang another number on the site once we had arrived, this gentleman came out quickly and was very helpful. The lady in the shop was very helpful, but not sure it was necessary to remind me that I was half an hour overdue on leaving. Overall, excellent.
Site's response
Thank you, sorry for the reminder about departure time, but we have to get the pitch ready for the next arrival. We hope to see you again.

Welcome was outstanding. Could not have been any better. The site was very big and plenty of space for the children to play. There is a small shop on site with the basics in. There are a couple of nice walks, but they are basically just around the edges of fields. The map in the information room is not very clear at all. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. There is no Wi-Fi and no phone signal, except at certain point on the site. There are only 2 toilet blocks with 4 toilets in each for the whole site. Not good at busy times. The toilets blocks were only "cleaned" once a day, if that. I think, even then it was only round the edges on the floor. There was a "bathroom" which was only open once in all the time we were there. It turned out to be an accessible shower (I think). There were dogs running loose everywhere and nobody monitoring the site to stop it happening. No security, except a barrier on entry. All in all, very disappointing.
