About Swallow Barn Farm Camping
Switch off and unwind at this peaceful, off-grid farm site. Nestled in the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, guests can enjoy a back-to-basics stay, waking up to glorious rural views and spending days exploring country lanes, charming villages and rural pubs. There are just 20 non electric grass pitches, suitable for both tents and campervans. Each pitch allows up to six guests, with no allocated markings so there is plenty of space to set up your table and chairs. Onsite facilities are very basic, so it is a great spot for those looking to get back to nature. If you want to enjoy days out, you will also be spoilt for choice with the popular destinations of Cheddar Gorge and Weston-super-Mare within easy reach. Evenings can also be spent cooking up a BBQ, just ensure it is raised from the ground. Please note, open fires are prohibited. Four-legged friends are also welcome to join you for your stay, with the surrounding countryside being perfect for walks.

If you want to enjoy a day at the beach, Weston-super-Mare is only 20 minutes away. Full of seaside charm, the coastal town has an expansive sandy beach, along with a fun-filled pier, adventure play park and more.
For a fascinating morning out, take a trip to the nearby Helicopter Museum (20 minutes). Home to over 100 helicopters, visitors can explore the many exhibitions, a WWII pilots block and even book your own air experience flight.
