Abbey Farm is extremely well suited to anyone wishing to get away for that idyllic, tranquil break with the luxury of toasty hot tubs. With a footpath a few hundred yards from the cottage, a cycle path at the farm entrance, and private walks through the farm, you have much to enjoy on your doorstep!

What a fabulous little place for some R&R! The hut, patio and hot tub are all secluded, giving the feeling of being in your own little place miles from anywhere. The facilities are perfect and operating instructions clear and concise. The farm and local paths give the opportunity for walks of any length. The owner messaged on the first day to check that everything was ok. All in all, a great little place to recharge your batteries!

A fabulous retreat. All instructions were clear and detailed, so using the facilities was straight forward. We really felt private and secluded, which is what we were after from this break. The Shepherds Hut itself was comfortable with everything you need included. Would definitely return.

Very impressed with the hut. It had everything you needed, it was clean and bed was very comfortable. Issue with the radiator in the bathroom but Georgina couldn't have been more helpful and offered to heat up the hot tub as a token gesture. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the hut for a long weekend for an escape from the London lifestyle. Even though the weather was mixed, it surpassed expectations. The wood fired hot tub was easy to use and was a nice addition. The cabin was fully kitted out with everything you could need and the bed was incredibly confortable. The host was also very commutative and we would definitely come back to stay.

We had a lovely weekend in Kite's Nest, it was an easy check in and very clean on arrival. The hut was cosy and warm, with everything we needed to cook for ourselves and great hot water facilities. Location was wonderful for a lot of local walks both from the farm and from Thame. We particularly enjoyed using the hot tub, which was a real luxury! Would recommend this for a perfect cosy weekend getaway, and would absolutely return for another visit!

We wanted a peaceful getaway to chill out and recharge... Abbey Farm Shepherds Hut did not disappoint. Everything was perfect, we had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean and tidy and very comfortable. There is a little BBQ enough for 2 people, and the woodfired hot tub was just amazing. Never used one before but we loved it. We will definitely be back... Also it's a short drive into Thame which has lots of pubs/ restaurants if you fancy a meal out. The Food at The Thatch was really good. 45 minutes away from Diddley Squat farm shop. We popped in for a few bits on the way home Can't fault anything … perfect few days away. Thank you

Just perfect! The perfect romantic little break. The hot tub was an added bonus. So peaceful and you are left alone. The owners have thought about every little detail to make it so perfect. I didn't want to go home. Will 100% be returning very soon. I cannot fault anything about this beautiful hut it was just perfect.

Loved everything about the shepherds hut at Abbey Farm. All the facilities were great including the BBQ & hot tub and the location was great- only a 2 min walk to bus stops that go into Thame nearby or Oxford 30 mins away. The communication from the host was good and she was very helpful. Would definitely recommend!

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Abbey Farm, The Rooster. We went away for a few days to unwind and relax and we most certainly did that. We were notified of the key safe code prior to our arrival, the accommodation was absolutely spotless, the bed was comfy and cosy and the bathroom towels where fluffy. We honestly couldn't fault our stay. We loved it so much that we never even left the site to go and explore, we had a BBQ with the facilities provided and were in and out of the hot tub all day. Thank you so much, we definitely will recommend this site to others and will be returning :)

We arrived at Abbey farm in Thame to find the Kites Nest Shepherd's hut nestled in its own little oasis. The hut itself is adorable and equipped with all the latest mod cons whilst still retaining it's traditional charm. A particular favourite feature of ours was the folding bed, which was very comfortable. There was also a woodfired hot tub, which was really nice to relax to the sounds of the countryside in. Once in the "glen" it's hard to believe that you're within a stone's throw of the A418, with gives you access to the many local attractions. Tim and Georgie were lovely and we will definitely be returning as soon as we can!

Stayed here for 2 nights with my boyfriend to relax for a couple of days. It was lovely and clean, the heater warms the hut very quickly, the bed was SO comfy and there was a spacious bathroom with a good shower. The hot tub was also really good! It took us a little bit longer to heat it up on the first night but it was much easier on the second night. The location was great, about a 6/7 minute drive from the high street which is full of restaurants, bar and supermarkets. You're given a mobile number to call to open the farm gates, as well as lock box pin - accessing and leaving the farm was a dream. No fuss at all. Cosy and just what you need for a little relaxation time. Will be returning!!! :D

Beautiful stay at Abbey Farm! The hut was absolutely beautiful. We loved waking up to the view and the sound of birds tweeting was so peacefully perfect! The hot tub was lovely to relax in and we did not want to leave - will most definitely be returning!! Thank you for such a lovely stay. Highly recommend!!

Lovely Shepherd's hut with full facilities provided. We were impressed with the ease of the pull-down bed that was all ready made up, and loved the garden area and hot tub. It was also lovely to see the lambs.

The location and facilities were amazing and looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was incredibly clean and well kept, and Georgina (the host) was on hand to help if there were any problems. Had an amazing weekend, and the hot tub made it all the more special. Would 100% recommend to anyone thinking about a relaxing break in a hot tub.

This has to be the best Shepherd's hut I've ever stayed at! The owners, Tim & Georgina, were lovely and welcoming and the hut was spacious, fully equipped, had a comfortable double bed, shower, and great views of countryside. I would recommend Abbey Farm to anyone visiting Oxfordshire. I'll be back again!

Spent two nights there for my boyfriend's birthday, had an amazing stay. Beautiful location and lovely little hut with everything you could need for a short stay. Georgia went above and beyond in sourcing me a birthday cake and balloon to have left in the hut upon arrival. Definitely recommend!!
