About the site
This adults only park is within one of just four national nature reserves in East Sussex. Stretching over 10,000 acres between Eastbourne and Hastings, the Pevensey Levels form a large grazing marsh and are home to many species of wetland birds and wildlife. The site itself is set on a 200 acre family-run working farm, within five minutes of the beach.
There are 100 level grass pitches for tents up to 7m, trailer tents, caravans, campervans, motorhomes and RVs. Each pitch measures a spacious 6m x 6m, allowing up to six guests. All of the pitches are also within easy reach of the facilities, and 60 also come with the added bonus of an electric hook up.
If you are an animal lover, a wander around the farm trail is a must. You can see ponies, donkeys, chickens, peacocks and ducks, with feed available from the onsite shop.
The site is also the proud previous winner of Practical Caravan's Top 100 Sites South East award, Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice and appointed 4-star by Visit England.
Four-legged friends can also join you for your stay, with up to two allowed per pitch. There is even a designated, enclosed dog walking field so they can run around off the lead.
Be sure to also bring along the BBQ, just ensure it is raised off the ground. Open fires are not permitted.

A note from the site themselves...
We didn't originally start out dreaming of a caravan park, it all kicked off with a great family camping trip. We loved the wide-open spaces on our farm surrounded by the prettiest countryside and we decided we best share it with others!
That is when our journey started. Our farm transformed into a caravan and camping spot. We've also had the added bonus of our ponies, donkeys, chickens, peacocks, ducks, and sometimes piglets and lambs.
Visitors started asking to meet our furry pals, and that's when our farm walk was born. Wander around, say hi to the animals, and soak up the peace and quiet. We can't wait to welcome you soon, The Fairfields Team

Would totally recommend Fairfields Farm.
Just a couple of pointers, that to get to the dog walking field, you have to get your dog through the Farm Walk (which is lovely by the way) but with a reactive dog, it can be tricky! The Farm Walk is fantastically well maintained with pigs, sheep, ponies, horses and lots of birds to see and interact with.
Only thing with the birds, cockerels are very noisy at 4 in the morning and there are a few of them! Also peacocks & guinea fowl are very noisy all day too. Sounds like I'm moaning but I'm not. We had a great stay, just letting people know what to expect as we didn't. lol.
Oh, the staff/owners are exceptional too!

Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024
Mostly peaceful site, although there was a distant road noise during the night Saturday. Friendly wardens and easy check in. Well spaced pitches, clean bathroom and shower, although they do need updating.
Enjoyed the farm walk. Information about the bridal paths to Pevensey Bay and Sovereign Harbour would be good. There is a bus stop outside the site but we took the 99 bus from the other side of the village to Sovereign Harbour, 20 minutes away. The village of Westham is delightful and just 5 minutes walk. Also, Pevensey Castle, which we had visited before.
There are tea rooms and pubs in the village. We enjoyed our weekend and so did the dog.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024
Beautiful site. Even though we had heavy rain on two nights, the grass areas remained firm and did not turn into a quagmire. Great location and friendly, helpful staff.
Will return next year. Thank you.

We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay (despite the rain), and look forward to welcoming you again in the future.
