About Trentfield Farm
Settled on the banks of the River Trent and within a charming Nottinghamshire hamlet, the site is just over a half hour from Sherwood Forest, and an easy 20 minutes from Lincoln with all its attractions. You'll stay on level grass pitches which are regularly cut and some include 16-Amp electric. Water is close to all pitches and you can even book in a four-way formation, where you and three friends stay nice and close to each other. Everyone is welcome here, whether you're pitching up a small tent or parking up a large caravan. You'll benefit from the glorious abundance of wildlife in a tranquil location that keeps people coming back.

Facilities include modern toilet and shower blocks and fishing onsite (no charge for river fishing). Guests have access to a freezer, washing up area and free mobile phone charging. 24-hour security is provided and OS maps can be borrowed from reception. Free WiFi is available.
Two pubs are in walking distance and the village shop is just a five minute drive away. Many great golf courses within a modest drive.

Things to do on site and in the Retford area
A leisurely stroll takes you to the Ferry Boat Inn nearby where you and your four legged friend are welcome, or you could zoom to Thaymar Ice Cream and try one of their 20 mouthwatering flavours.
If you've brought the little ones, hot foot it down to Sundown Adventureland for a whirl on the rides and enjoy a delicious tea at the National Trust's lovely Clumber Park.
Get pumping those pedals, the National Cycle Network has fantastic routes in this area. There are walks too to suit every taste, with quiet traffic free trails to uncover.
