Piggles Retreat offers a relaxing waterside glamping stay, 25 minutes from Cambridge. Each of the family friendly glamping lodges comes equipped with comfy beds, a kitchenette, heating, a TV and more. Outside are private decking areas where you can admire the views and cook up a BBQ, with a private modern bathroom nearby too. There are row boats, a putting green and a badminton area to enjoy onsite, with Newmarket only ten minutes away too!

About Piggles Retreat

A great location for exploring the Cambridgeshire countryside or simply unwinding with a book. This small, family friendly glamping site is set around a wildlife lake with row boats for guests to enjoy. Spot visiting wildlife or even enjoy a game of pitch and putt or badminton onsite. Each of the three fully furnished glamping lodges are equipped with both electric and heating to keep you nice and cosy. You will also have your own modern bathroom nearby with a personal key, so you can leave all of your toiletries there and not have to worry about sharing. Lion and Bear both feature a private double bedroom, whilst Beaver includes a double bed in the studio style, open plan interior. Bed linen is also included so you can travel light! The spacious living areas come with a flat screen TV for your entertainment, along with a small kitchenette featuring a mini fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. All crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided, along with a water dispenser and outdoor washing up area. Although designed for two, each cabin can accommodate up to four guests, there is a sofa bed in each, and a camp bed can be supplied if required. Bedding and linen are only provided for two so any extra guests will have to bring their own bed linen or a sleeping bag. For making the most of your lovely lakeside views, there is a private decking area with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining. A private BBQ means you can also cook up a delicious dinner in the open. If you have extra guests with you, there is the Monkey Annex that can also be added to your booking, sleeping an extra adult and a child or two children. Please note, this site is dog free.

Facilities and amenities

Each cabin has its own bathroom in a communal block with a private key, each featuring a loo and shower. There is also a Monkey House Annex that can be booked for extra guests. There is also a badminton area, rowing boats and a small putting green to enjoy.

There is a large Sainsbury's a 15 minute drive away for any shopping. The Bull pub is also within a 20 minute walk.
