A note from the site themselves...

Faye and Austin look forward to welcoming you to one of the original Feather Down farms in the Malverns. With fantastic views over the fields and close to the Cotswolds, they invite you to come and meet their ponies and cows, alongside their son's small flock of ewes who lamb each April.

Our mission at Feather Down is to help you reconnect to nature and each other.

Yes. You can fit a travel cot in the accommodation. You can also hire one from the site for a small fee. Due to limited space, only one cot per lodge is allowed.

The wood-fired stove inside of the accommodation will keep it warm and cosy. It is important to regularly add some wood. During the night, the site would recommend bringing warm pyjamas and perhaps some extra blankets and a hot water bottle.

Sorry, no dogs are allowed as this is a pet free site.

Onsite, you can enjoy making friends with each and every farm animal - as well as pizza night, when the farmer bakes delicious fresh pizzas in the site oven.

When you're not blissfully relaxing and breathing the country air, this part of the country is an explorer's paradise. The Malvern Hills, as the name suggests, are all about great walking and biking country, so you can take in the great views.

You'd be missing out if you didn't stroll the echoing halls of Great Malvern Priory. For history buffs, Eastnor Castle, set beside the Cotswolds has all the calm of a deer park, serene lake and pretty gardens, but also the pure adrenaline of the Land Rover Experience.

When you pop into Malvern itself, you can uncover its history in the local museum, wander streets lined with bookshops and antique dealers, or just have a slap up meal.

Other nearby attractions include:

  • Priory Park (15 minutes)
  • Hereford Cider Museum Trust (35 minutes)
  • Puzzlewood (55 minutes)
  • Cadbury World (1 hour)
