Coedfryn Farm is a small farm site within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. All pitches are non electric on grass and perfect for tents and tourers, each with its own private toilet. It features an undercover barn for playing, socialising and BBQs and enjoys a prime position ten minutes from the local beach. Get to know the friendly alpacas and a couple of lambs during your holiday!

Trailer Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2023

Small camping site situated on a farm. Seven pitches with ample facilities to service each pitch. We used our trailer tent on this occasion and the pitches are sizeable so plenty of room for our tent. Each pitch has an allocated flushing toilet contained in a block. There were two showers between two pitches. You get your own picnic table (for 4) and a campfire area complete with rod iron tripod and grill. Each pitch is given an allocation of firewood housed in an outside covered utility area. We have onboard cooking facilities but this area is big enough to use a stove to cook out of the weather. There is drinking water located in one of the outbuildings close by which also houses a fridge/freezer for your use. The owner checks on the pitches twice a day normally so if there is any issue I'm sure it would be rectified quickly. My daughter enjoyed the outside play area with a slide, swing and trampoline. There is also a barn with a variety of ride-on toys for all weather play. Two fields up from the campsite is a herd of Alpacas which are fun to visit but the dominant male is quite protective so a short stay is advised. There are a half a dozen resident sheep in by the entrance to the site who are friendly. You could walk for hours on the lanes, bye ways and paths around the campsite. The lovely picturesque village of Nevern is a short drive away. There you'll find a lovely church, castle ruins and a few amenities mainly a pub (which I'm sure I'll frequent next visit). Main supplies can be had at Cardigan 8ish miles away, with a large Tesco and Aldi in town along with all other manner of town trappings. There is a country store and petrol station closer with a wide range of food and essentials for sale but costly. The closest sandy beach is Newport Sands (less than 5 miles) which we have been to several times now. With it long stretches of sandy coastline, rock pools and safe (life guarded) swimming it is a personal favourite! There is also a medieval (Bronze Age) village and if you like horse the Shire Horse Farm both about 3 miles away. Both worth a visit. All in all a great short trip for my 9 year old daughter and I we would definitely revisit if in the area again.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2023

The campsite is very big, there is alot of space on each pitch. My daughter enjoyed feeding animals and playing in the barn, small playground outside with a huge trampoline was a lot of fun. Each pitch has its allocated private toilet, toilet paper provided, shower nice and clean with hot water. Area is really quiet, nothing around just nature, few min drive to the shop and supermarkets, beautiful sandy beach 15 min drive. In the night when the sky was clear I saw a lot of stars, it was unreal!! Wood for fire provided daily. The gentleman who looked after the campsite was amazing, checking on us every morning and advising us about places to see. Top man!!!! I will definitely stay there again.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring PitchAug 2023

Lovely friendly campsite, you even had your own personal toilet, fire fit, picnic bench and kitchen area. Most useful for when its rained /windy. Trug of logs was also included in the price, which was amazing.

Peaceful, relaxing, enjoyable experience- perfect for our 2 year old too!

Trailer Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2022

Had a lush bank holiday weekend. Although a small farm with only 8 pitches, they were huge and really well spaced out! They had their own little covered kitchen area, a built in bbq/fire pit (logs supplied daily for free) and a picnic table. The facilities were fine, although I do prefer a proper toilet/ shower block rather than wooden shed ones (which is why I've only given 4*) but they did the job! No EHUs and quite far out, but lots of walks around if that's your thing. Our 2 year old loved it, they had a few animals there, a small play area with a slide, swing, trampoline, goals and a basket ball hoop but the cherry on top was a huge barn full of ride on cars and construction/ farm vehicles. Getting him to come away so we could go anywhere was a nightmare! 😆🫣 A very peaceful setting and the stars at night were breathtaking- we've never seen so many! If a peaceful, off the grid getaway is your thing then definitely try Coedfryn Farm out!

Trailer Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2022

25 July 2022 we stayed. It was brilliant, perfect in fact. We were two families with 4 kids between us aged 4 to 7 and were catered for excellently. Thanks to Hugo and the gang for everything.

Lovely hidden gem

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2022

Had an absolutely lovely time at Coedfryn Farm. We were welcomed on site by a very friendly gentleman who was really helpful and accommodating. The campsite was very clean and the pitches were enormous. I liked all the little touches such as your own bathroom per pitch, the already set out campfire area and the showers were lovely. I liked the kids area which was a nice surprise - indoor and outside area. Really helped to stay cool during the heatwave and I would imagine would come in useful if it rained. Being close to the animals was lovely too. My daughter loved paying them a visit and especially enjoyed the playground and the kids area.

So much space, amazing stay

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring PitchAug 2022

This place is a real gem! The kids loved the play barn, so would be amazing still if the weather was bad. There is a lovely outdoor play area for the kids too, with a trampoline and slide. The site is basic but has hot showers, flushing toilet, drinking water and washing up facilities. You even have your own covered area for cooking, picnic bench and a fire pit (logs included!) The alpacas, sheep, goats and horse make great company and the sunset from the top of the field is beautiful. Would 100% recommend.

Very friendly farm campsite in a lovely location

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesJul 2022

Lovely campsite near Newport, perfect location for getting around. The owners were very friendly and we really appreciated being allowed into the barn when it was pouring down and letting the children play with the owner's children's outdoor toys! The showers and toilets were clean and very nicely made, the fire wood each night (when it wasn't raining) was a very nice touch - our kids loved having a campfire.
