About Castle Bay Holiday and Residential Park
With stunning views across the Irish Sea and Dunskey Castle, Castle Bay is ideal for those looking to pitch their tent or park up their touring caravan or motorhome. You're also less than a mile from the pretty town of Portpatrick, just a 15 minute walk away along a coastal path. There are 50 grass pitches for tent campers, alongside hardstanding touring pitches where you can park up with access to electric. Seasonal touring pitches with electric hook ups are available, as well as good quality static caravans, which you can hire throughout the year. Your four-legged friends are more than welcome here too, with plenty of space for them to stretch their legs.
For holiday and holiday hire caravans, the site is open all year. Camping and seasonal pitches are available from March until October.
On site, you will find well-maintained showers and toilets. Access is also via a secured gate, ensuring you feel safe during your stay.
A five minute drive will take you to Portpatrick village and harbour, with independent shops as well as a number of restaurants. While the Galloway Bar and Restaurant is just a five minute walk away.

Things to do on site and in the Stranraer area
When you're not enjoying the beautiful views from the site, head out and explore Portpatrick, situated less than a mile from the park. Soak up the scenery surrounding the ruins of Dunskey Castle and enjoy an afternoon stroll along the cliffs whilst overlooking the coastline.
Alternatively, a 20 minute drive takes you to Stranraer, where you can enjoy days out with the family at Loch Ryan or canoeing and go karting at Agnew Park.
