Rolling Fields Glamping was set up by Fiona. She has lovingly created a glamping site with two 5m Luna tents, one 6m Nomadic bell tent, two 5m star bell tents and a cute little shepherd's hut. The Luna tents, 6m Nomadic bell tent and hut have private bathrooms, the 5m star bell tents share a bathroom. All the little luxuries are sorted, so sit back, relax, toast marshmallows on the fire and enjoy the sunsets.

About the site

This attractive glamping site is set in a field behind a small picturesque village, which the River Thames runs through the bottom of. It's a beautiful setting and the only things you need to bring are yourselves, warm clothes, food and drink - though they even provide a huge selection of optional extra food packages too which can be waiting for you on your arrival and are delicious! Rolling Fields Glamping is both peaceful and perfectly set for both families with children or a couple wanting a romantic getaway. The tents are set at least 10m apart to ensure the privacy of all the guests. The Luna tents, 6m bell tent and shepherd's hut each have their own private bathroom and the two 5m star bell tents share a bathroom between just the two tents. If the site isn't full, these will be upgraded to private bathrooms at no extra charge! Chic Luna tents sleep up to four, with comfy beds and day beds supplied and an electric stove to keep you toasty. The spacious bell tents sleep four or five and are kitted out with futons as well as a brazier and electric fire. The charming shepherd hut for two was updated by a member of the family and sits nestled in the woods on the side of the field, with its own small double bed and a brazier you can cosy up beside. Although based in a quiet village, the glamping site is hugely accessible to a wide range of fun activities for a day out. Oxford and Reading are both short train rides away and there are stunning walks in all directions whether they are through woods, along the river or across fields - something for everyone. Then in the evening you can relax around the fire, have a drink and watch the incredible star constellations that come out at night and are amazingly visible on a clear night due to the lack of light pollution. During the day you can also see an abundance of wildlife - red kites soaring overhead, hare boxing in the field or a family of grazing deer, not to mention the sheep!

Rolling Fields Glamping is open from 26/04 to 02/10.

A note from the site themselves...

Originally set up by myself and my sister Monica. My sister and I grew up on this farm, climbing the trees and roaming the fields and our Dad still works the farm. Monica has now stepped down to focus on her expanding family and her career. As my older children are now in school, I wanted to set up a business and what better thing to do then go into business on the farm that you love!

The glamping enables me meet lots of wonderful people and share the beautiful place that I grew up on with others.
