About The Buteland Stop
You'll be staying on a private glamping site with just two luxury shepherd's huts, so total exclusivity and relaxation can be yours. The huts are set in an acre of land with stunning views, three miles from the rural beauty of the village of Bellingham which offers amenities close to the Pennine Way and River North Tyne, but far from any noisy urban developments. The owner lives close by and are available to assist with your needs. Inside the huts, there is a double bed with ensuite shower, TV, cassette toilet and log burner. There is a gas hob and sink unit for making meals so that it's a proper home-away-from-home. Parking is provided next to the hut.

Rosie and Lizzie are off-grid shepherd's huts, sleeping two. Inside there is a hob, sink, TV/DVD player, woodburning stove and ensuite shower and toilet. Disposable BBQs can be used and a 12 volt battery for power is provided.

Site rules and policies
Children over 12 years old can stay with an adult, unfortunately under 12s are not permitted owing to the huts having log burning stoves.
Cancellations can be accepted as long as at least one month's notice is given before your due arrival date, in which case a full refund will be given less the £25 cancellation fee.
If you cancel within one month of arrival date, the full amount for the holiday is due and is not refundable.
Please note that deposits on reservations for the Christmas and New Year periods are non refundable.
Breakages and damage must be reported and paid for before departure.
Things to do on site and in the Bellingham area
On site there are two donkeys, Wilbur and Eddie Blossom and one horse Rosie who all enjoy meeting people and want you to give them a carrot or a fuss when passing.
You can hire bikes on site for days out and Route 10 from the hut provides beautiful scenic rides. It's a great way to explore the area and find relaxing spots.
You can swim in the local village at the Riverdale Hotel or just laze by their pool.
Dark skies are plentiful on site, so get stuck in to some amazing stargazing. For an even better experience, 40 minutes drive away, Kielder Observatory will take you to the darkest skies in England and closer to the stars .
Walks to the Hareshaw Lynn waterfall in Bellingham are gorgeous.Nice places to eat in Bellingham village.
