Things to do on site and in the Upper Sheringham area
The surrounding cottage gardens and adjacent fields attract many resident birds and some migratory birds heading to the famous saltmarshes at Cley and Blakeney. They are a wonderfully peaceful space to stroll and get back to nature.
Two championship golf courses of Royal Cromer and Sheringham are both within a 15 minute drive.
The nearby North Norfolk Coastal path provides picturesque walking. Cycling is also a great way to explore the area, particular the ancient Peddars Way.
Excellent beach fishing is available at Weybourne Hope and Salthouse, so anglers will enjoy many days out. The pier at Cromer is renowned for crabbing which makes a great family outing, no special skills required. Not only that, but boat trips operate daily from Morston and Blakeney to visit the resident seals.
Coasthopper buses also provide a fun way to explore the coastal villages and attactions.
