With two luxury safari tents here, Fallow and Muntjac, as well as a tiny glamping house located in an idyllic spot, you can escape the 9 to 5 with family and friends and soak up some of the Norfolk countryside. Just a short drive to the North Norfolk coastline and the city buzz of Norwich.

About Hawthorns Glamping

Sitting in a three acre meadow and surrounded by the beautiful Norfolk countryside with plenty of wildlife, the safari tents here have everything you need to enjoy a fabulous stay with plenty of space to play and have fun together. The luxurious wooden framed, canvas safari tents each sleep up to six people with lots of space for friends and family to enjoy. Both are comfortably furnished so there will be no need to go without the little home comforts. In the open plan living area there are power sockets, table and chairs together with comfy sofas. There are two double sized bedrooms and a further magical cabin bedroom all with bed linen, duvets and pillows. You'll also find a kitchen area fitted with an oven and a small fridge freezer together with a separate shower/bathroom. The tent opens out onto a timber veranda/decking area with further seating which overlooks a three acre meadow. To top it off, a fire pit and log seating for those looking to enjoy lovely evenings under the unpolluted starry skies. The Tiny House here provides a quirky glamping alternative, sleeping up to two and featuring a number of home comforts. Fully insulated and furnished with a king sized bed, sofa as well as a kitchen including fridge/freezer, microwave, gas oven and more. Bed linen and towels provided. Enjoy the views of the meadow and don't miss sitting out by the fire pit to soak up those starry skies.

Facilities and amenities

Safari tent facilities include kitchen area equipped with oven and small fridge/freezer as well as a bath and shower room. There are games on site for all to enjoy together with a mud kitchen and swings for the little ones. Bike hire is available at a daily charge per bike (must be ordered in advance).

The Railway Arms is under a three mile drive away and serves a range of food and drink.

The Fox Tiny House includes a luxury king sized bed and fully equipped kitchen and a shower room. Bed linen and towels provided.

Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept under control. Our K9 friends are to be kept off the furniture and the beds. No cars to be left by the tents. Cars to be parked in the designated area after unloading / loading of equipment. No smoking inside the tents please, smoking strictly to be outside and away from the tent. Please ensure cigarette buts are disposed of in a bin. Noise - be sensible and respect other people on the site


The tent is equipped with lots of games for all to enjoy no matter if you're on a family or friendly gathering. There is a mud kitchen and swings on site for the little ones to enjoy too.

If you fancy going and exploring the surrounding area there are lots of lovely walks and bicycle rides nearby. Bike hire is available on site too.
