A lovely place. We had a pitch right on the edge of the cliffs and overlooking the sea, what a location. Lovely modern toilets and showers. I would and I have recommended.

Fantastic site. Coastal path takes you one way to Sheringham in about 15/20 mins and the other way to Cromer in about 50 mins. We had a sea view even though we were not on the front. Facilities are clean and modern and there is a nice van serving pancakes with some outdoor seating.
Wonderful campsite with seaviews

Came to stay with our two children for two nights. Really enjoyed the views, the sound of the sea and the coastal walks easily doable immediately from the site. The staff were very friendly and met all our requests. Will definitely come again.
Great, well maintained site with sea views

Would 100 % recommend this campsite. Very well maintained. Great sea views! Great location! We pitched our tent next to the mini woods on the left as you enter the hayfield field (non electric). Still had a sea view but had good wind shelter. It wasn't too busy and was quiet in the evenings. There is also a lovely food van next to the shower block which has table and chairs with a sea view! Open most days and sells bacon baps or pancakes for breakfast. Coffee, milkshakes, toasties, cakes too. Very good toilet and shower facilities and cleaned regularly. 4 toilets, about 5 or 6 sinks, hairdryers and 4 showers, which are spacious cubicles with double size shower trays. Great if you have little ones with you! One cubicle is even bigger with a sink in there as well. About 4 hooks in each cubicle. Only 2 sinks for washing up and only 1 draining board, so you can be waiting a while sometimes to wash up. There are several drinking water points around the site. Also, an Elsan point, launderette and a good kids playground. Just to point out as well that if you camp with no electric, there are no plugs anywhere to charge phones, and there are no fridges or freezers for food, or ice packs. It wasn't a problem for us but thought it was worth a mention! Had a fantastic few days in this area of Norfolk which is beautiful. Will definitely go back. Couldn't fault this site really. If I had to suggest something, it would only be to add another draining board to the washing up area, and maybe a small plastic table or chair in each shower cubicle would be handy. This is a great location for exploring the North Norfolk coast, Sheringham, Cromer, Weybourne. There's a lovely coastal path at the bottom of the site, go left to Sheringham, over the Beeston bump - takes about half an hour. It is quite steep and bumpy in some places, so not ideal if you have prams or mobility issues. You can still walk to Sheringham from the top of the site, down the main road, past Tesco on the right. Go right on the coastal path to walk to Cromer - a bit further, but a bit flatter! Takes about an hour. There is no direct beach access from the site, I believe there was steps at one point. Would be a lot as it is set on a high cliff top, but they had to close because of coastal erosion, so the nearest beach access is in Sheringham and is well worth a visit. Would definitely recommend doing the seal trips and book early as they fill up fast and only go a few times a day because of the tides! All the boats go from Morston Quay, around a 25 minute drive from the site. We went with Temple seal trips and it was fab. Saw loads of seals in the sea, then we got to Blakeney point and saw lots more seals on the sand and in the water, it was amazing to see! Interesting and funny information from the Captain! Lovely train journey goes from Sheringham to Weybourne to Holt, about 30 minutes each way. There was a train gala on when we were there, so was lucky enough to do the journey on different steam trains in first class carriages! It was brilliant. It's worth doing the journey though, even on the normal train. Fantastic scenery, coast and country!
