A real gem. We were made to feel welcome. The site is a hidden spot steeped in history. It's natural and the rest of the campers were courteous and respectful of the site and other campers. We had a tent issue and the owners were more than happy to lend a hand and move our tent to a more sheltered side of the field. Genuinely lovely. We will be back.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2024

A beautiful little spot, nestling in lovely rolling farmland in Lincolnshire Wolds. Very quiet- not suitable for party people- but perfect for families looking for some peace. Clean toilets and hot showers, and we had use of an indoors space and fridge. Surrounded by cows, chickens and peacocks. Perfect base for walking in Wolds or visit to seaside. Hope to return!

Wonderful campsite

Great site, so beautiful. Facilities were clean and in good order. We even got free fruit from the farmer.

Stayed here to go to Cadwell Park

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2023

We booked this campsite after leaving it too late to get camping at Cadwell for the British Superbikes. In the end, we were glad as this was much nicer! The location was ideal for Cadwell, only 4 miles down the road, and the actual campsite itself was beautiful! The views and setting were great, the facilities were amazing and it was definitely value for money! We'd love to come back next time we're at the bikes or even just to camp in general! Thanks!

The venue for us was what we wanted and was just a few minutes from Cadwell BSB race circuit.

Great location for exploring the Wolds

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2023

Great, quiet location, set off the main road, with lovely views from the site, located on a working farm. Nice walks from the site location and friendly owners. Stayed an extra night as we enjoyed our stay so much. Only downside was the shower/toilet block queue at busy times and it was a bit primitive, but perfectly usable. This is reflected in the very reasonable price so not a complaint and would definitely stay again xxx

Just the best!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2023

This was our first time camping for many years, I was hesitant as I needed somewhere quiet and peaceful, which is exactly what this place is. There is plenty of space, so not on top of one another, and each tent has the most perfect views over the gentle rolling countryside. The amenities were basic, but good. Everything was clean and just what was expected - toilets, showers, washing machine and dryer. Additional bonus is the lovely space one can go in to make a drink if needed, (we didn't use this, but may have been good if the weather was bad) and a small fridge for keeping butter/milk etc. Just a lovely place where we will return.

Beautiful wild camping with character and excellent facilities

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2023

This campsite is superb, a true camping experience. We originally booked for one night, but upgraded to two as really impressed. We have stayed in many commercial and country campsites but this has by far been the best. Although it states you are on a working farm I wouldn't personally feel this...can pitch your tent wherever you prefer within the camping area, beautiful views of rolling hills and cattle within the Lincolnshire wolds, beautiful gardens and its own church....true character. The facilities are excellent, hot showers, clean and a large modernised barn with indoor eating areas, a fridge, kettle, washing machine etc. A true camping experience with all the facilities. Our two teenagers are not keen campers, but this site they loved. Plenty of countryside but also small towns and nearby supermarkets in Hornastle. Also Woodhall Spa is not far, which we visited for outdoor swimming pool, coffee shops etc. Every night spent around the campfire with toasted marshmallows. I would definitely recommend for couples and families. Could not recommend enough....posting my personal pictures of our trip on Facebook had many friends asking where this campsite was as looked beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2023

Lovely quiet rural spot in an old-fashioned farm/estate with plenty of space to camp and lots of things to see (the tiny church, the orchard/redcurrants, the peacocks etc.). There were only 3 other tents in the field when we were there and everyone was quiet and friendly. There are some lovely walks from the campsite too. I thoroughly recommend this as a relaxing spot in classic English countryside!
