Fabulous!

Couldn’t recommend this site enough. The facilities are amazing, close to both Charmouth and Lyme Regis, spacious pitches, great playground and good dog walking. We will definitely be back!

Great stay

Great place to stay perfect for families and especially dogs too. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Staff were helpful and friendly. The food vans were a great touch also.

Fab stay

First time camping with our 5 year old, couldn't have gone any better. Check in was quick and easy, shown to our pitch. Pitches were spacious, clean and tidy. Toilet/shower facilities were spotless, modern and the best campsite showers we've ever had. Play park was set in the middle of the campsite and had a lot for the kids and space to play ball games too. The campsite has a lit up fairy light dog walk in and around the wooded area which was really pretty. We made use of the food vans, delicious pizza and burgers, very convenient if you do not feel like cooking. Campsite is really well laid out, it's only 10 mins from Lyme Regis and Charmouth and an hour from Weymouth. We enjoyed it so much we tried to extend our stay but it was fully booked. Hope to come back again. Really recommend!

Amazing site

This site is probably one of the best we have stayed at. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the pitches were huge and beautifully positioned. The shower blocks were always clean with hot water and more like a 5 star hotel. Lovely areas to exercise our dogs but unfortunately not any nice walks off site that didn't involve walking along the roads, which were quite busy. One of our dogs is nervous of fast moving traffic, so we found this not ideal. The site is better suited if you have transport as the bus stop is a 15/20 minute walk away, but if you're happy with that then it's the perfect base if you like to explore the area. It's a lovely site for families as there's a wonderful play area, but its quiet enough for anyone who wants to have a restful break.

Very well run site with excellent facilities

This site has brilliant toilet and shower facilities. The pitches are well laid out and offer reasonable privacy. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and there is a well stocked shop. We didn't have children with us this time, but will be coming back with the grandkids later in the season. Highlights for us were the fairy-lit dog walk and the help yourself herb garden.

Weekend stay

Really lovely campsite, the people are extremely friendly. The campsite is very well kept and facilities are always clean. There is a dog paddock and a dog walk for your four legged friend! Would definitely recommend and will return.

Fabulous site

Spent 3 nights on this lovely site where we were greeted by friendly staff. The site was immaculate with all facilities kept clean and tidy. We wished we had booked a longer stay. We will definitely be staying here again.

We will definitely return

The stay started when we were met with a lovely, friendly welcome. The pitch was nice and large with plenty of room for our van and awning. The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate every time we used them. There is a large space for dishwashing which was spotless too. Will definitely be back.

Very happy first timer

This was my first trip in my motorhome. Lovely site with a warm, friendly welcome from Jenny. Nice little dog walks scattered around. Laundry room super clean, as was the whole site. Quiet location, too

Awesome site

Absolutely brilliant pitch, hardstanding with EHU...excellent, extremely well-kept site. Smashing team in reception, well stocked little shop too, astounding shower/toilet block...meanwhile set us up, to visit Charmouth, Seaton, Beer, Lyme Regis and Little Seatown. Great pub just up the road, Hunters Lodge Inn, (dogs allowed) and a brilliant little pub further on in Axminster, The Lamb Inn. Chilled us out...big time...we aim to go back.

Motorhome stay

We stayed here in a motorhome. A very pretty, peaceful site but the location was too rural for us with no access to anything, even a bus stop was a 20 min walk. We therefore left early and didn't complete our stay. Facilities excellent, lovely playground for children but if you don't have access to a car or other means of travel it's rather restrictive and not ideal. All staff very friendly and helpful, just location for us that let it down.

A very nice campsite

Monkton Wyld is a very nice kept camp and caravan site, we would definitely visit again. The showers and washroom were amazing. The washing room was very clean with hot water as you would expect. The whole site was very clean and maintained to a high standard.

Lovely site

First stay ever in our motorhome so we needed somewhere not too far away. The site is clean and the facilities immaculate but was disappointed having booked in that id be a late arrival, no one was there to point me in the right direction. The park was the friendliest I've been on, and I've been all over when I had a caravan. The woodland walk with lights was magical, and they have a dog paddock which was handy. The motorhome service area is brilliant and I'd return here again.

Our apologies that we were not here to greet you: our reception staff do finish work at 5pm during low season, however we do leave detailed instructions for late arrivals and we do try and contact those who have not arrived to explain the late arrival procedure.

Fantastic stay

Fantastic location with a lovely woodland walk, which was lit up at night. Very friendly and helpful staff and a well stocked shop. Facilities were excellent and clean, we really enjoyed our stay.

Short break camping

This is a really nice site with good sized pitches. The toilet/shower facilities are really clean, warm and modern. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The only thing that would have made it better for us would be to stock more essential items in the shop, as we were staying in a campervan we had to walk everywhere.

Outstanding, lovely site, staff and showers

Ideally placed site to discover the Jurassic Coast, lovely site set in gardens and fantastic walk on site for dogs and a paddock opposite to let them have a run. Staff friendly and attentive. Reception open from 9-4pm everyday. Facilities well cleaned and the showers are fab. The site suits everyone.
