As I mentioned to the manager this morning, it would be useful to put the following info. In the kitchen area, no glasses, bowls, mugs or cutlery. We didn't realise. When we saw that there was a kitchen, we assumed these would be available and so had none with us which spoiled our evening a little bit. However, we went to the local charity shop and bought stuff there the next day. Also, no hooks outside pod 1. In general though, loved the situation and the pod. BBQ area is a great idea.
It was a lovely stay

1st night we felt there was a lot of rain, but actually it was the sound of the stream! The pod itself was fit for purpose and the bed is comfortable. The whole area is well kept and maintained. Clean and tidy.

Two of us stayed in a 3 bed pod and it was very comfortable. It was surprisingly warm and cosy with underfloor heating plus a radiator if needed. It has been previously mentioned in other reviews, but there were absolutely no hooks and only one, small shelf. A few hooks and shelves would definitely make life easier but not a deal breaker!! The location was lovely and quiet but not really walkable to Bowness due to a lack of pavements along a fairly fast road so the car had to do a bit more mileage than planned. The kitchen/toilets/showers were all well kept and cleaned regularly. Toilet paper and paper hand towels were always well stocked. Overall a beautiful, comfortable and cosy place to stay that’s really good value for money.

Special thanks to Alan for his advice and smile (for journeys, the' 'Kentmere reservoir '" in particular). We appreciated too the toaster, a part of luxury in a natural (Wild) place, we are French.

Lovely short stay with my son who's 8. The location was perfect, the pod was lovely and warm and the beds were also comfy. The site is clean and tidy and in a really good location, only a 6-minute drive to Bowness. I arrived one hour early and the floor in my pod was wet. The guy said it had been mopped, but I felt it was soaking and would take time to dry out. It wasn't a problem and the guy on site moved us to another pod in a heartbeat. The site was also lovely, quiet and really peaceful. 10/10, will 100% be back.

What a lovely find. We've camped and glamped our way round the Lakes and were thrilled to discover this lovely tranquil site. The pods are located near a running river/stream and with underfloor heating and plug and usb points, provide that extra cosy home from home. The toilets and showers are a short hop away and well maintained and clean. The gentleman who welcomed us was so friendly and helped us to feel settled. There's a kitchen and communal BBQ site for those guests who require this and plenty of room to set up your own. With a bus stop down the hill and access to one of our favourite walks into Bowness, we can't wait to return.

I would absolutely recommend this park. The site is lovely. Stream running through. The pods are what we expected, simple and clean. Wish we'd taken a little fold out table, had to keep most stuff on the floor (will remember to do that next time). Only thing that would have improved the pod would have been some hooks on the inside to hang coats etc. Other than that, it was great. Clean shower rooms and toilets. Nice community room with table tennis table and shared kitchen. Some lovely walks near by, suitable for kids.
Excellent site and really cosy pods

Nice, clean and neat site. The heated pods are really cosy even on a chilly February weekend. The beds, heating and electricity make it a luxury pod stay.
