Only stayed a night in quite the downpour, but the site cope well with it, the people there were welcoming and facilities where really good. A really warm shower

The campsite is huge. Early September, it was dead quiet and peaceful - only the sound of the owls and the river nearby. Be prepared for cold showers as advertised.

A rare find. Loads of space. Be prepared for a walk to the loos/showers. We set up in the rain and didn't notice the pylons. Very noisy underneath. Very helpful reception. Dogs loved it.

Lovely place to stay, when we arrived we were pleasantly greeted with a warm welcome and given a map to choose where we wanted to stay, we found a great little spot next to the river where it was deep enough for a swim. They provide buckets of wood, which you help yourself to and pay for when you depart, at £5 per bucket and the fire pits are there too free of charge to use. The showers and toilets are lovely and rustic and kept very clean. All in all, we are happy with our stay, and it was nice to be welcomed as a group of 5 males. Thank you for a great time.
