When the campsite is at capacity there has been periods without hot water. This has only happened twice, but it is worthy bearing in mind.

Please be aware that the road leading to the campsite is an unmade track and can get rather bumpy during periods of bad weather.

If you came for the beach, you certainly won't be disappointed, St Ives Bay is in very easy walking distance and has a full 6 miles of pure golden sand for you to enjoy. Neighbouring Gwithians Towans Beach is another star attraction.

In the bright blue waters of the bay the site offers surfing lessons from well trained instructors, so bring your board and get ready to ride the waves. It doesn't end there, you can make a splash with stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking or a boat trip which will take you to meet the local seals.

How about a spot of coasteering? Or see how far can you explore on the South West Coast Path, fuelled by its unmissable views. From pony trekking to wildlife spotting, there really is no end to the amount of fun in the sun you can have here.
