Trevaylor is a friendly family run campsite where a warm welcome awaits you. The touring fields are dog friendly, set over five paddocks surrounded by Cornish hedging with grass pitches in a range of sizes suitable for backpackers, tents, caravans, campervans, motorhomes, as well as bell tents for hire. Or choose to stay in one of the six well-equipped luxury holiday homes or small annexe cottage.

About the site

Close to St Just, Penzance, Land's End and St Ives, Trevaylor is a family run campsite catering for up to 60 touring caravans, motorhomes tents, and two bell tents for hire. Also offering six luxury self-catering holiday caravans and a self-catering cottage for those of you who prefer an alternative to camping. Located just 500 metres from the coastal path and some of the most dramatic coastline in Cornwall, the campsite is only 5 miles away from Land's End and 3 miles from the famous surfing beach at Sennen Cove. Trevaylor places you at the heart of Cornwall's mining and cultural heritage. The iconic Crowns Engine houses sit on the edge of the cliffs nearby, as are walks to Cape Cornwall, Cot Valley and beyond. The campsite is also situated in the heart of West Penwith's International Dark Sky Park making this area one of the best places in the world for you to view the nights sky.

On site, there is a modern facilities block, club Wi-Fi wireless internet (for a fee), cool block re-freezing, a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer and indoor washing-up sinks.

The local pub, the Queen's Arms, is within walking distance (5 minutes) to enjoy a meal or a local beer or two! St Just is just a few minutes by car or a 20-minute walk. Here you can find a convenience store, lovely local shops including grocers, bakery, butchers, gifts shops, galleries, pubs and cafes to enjoy.

A bus stop just outside the site with regular buses that stop just outside the campsite, including the open-topped bus called the Tin Coaster that runs throughout the year.

Things to do on site and in the Penzance area

The site offers fantastic opportunities for climbers and ramblers - and is often the first or last stop for intrepid Land's End to John 'o' Groats travellers and visa versa!

There are numerous walk options directly from site and the 17-mile stretch of the South West Coast Path between St Just and St Ives is arguably the most beautiful and certainly the most remote section of the whole path.

The iconic Crowns Tin Mines can be seen from less than 500m away from the campsite. Not only that, but the site is in an AONB the B3306 Lands End to St Ives coast road that passes by is known as one of Britain's most romantic roads.

Indeed, many scenes from the well-known TV series Poldark were filmed on location less than 500m from this campsite! Why not take a mini tour of the area to see what spots you recognise?

This Cornish peninsula boasts some of the most magnificent beaches and coves in Cornwall - everyone has their favourite! There are also an abundance of gardens to visit - ranging from intimate to grand and they're the perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon.

For foodies, come to this part of Cornwall and find the best crab sandwiches and the ultimate cream tea, served with lashings of Cornish clotted cream! Birdwatching, photography, geocaching, walking and cycling are sure to also be on your list.

Or when you want to get even more adventurous, try your hand at surfing, sea kayaking, orienteering, potholing, horse riding, or just immerse yourself in the multitude of historic sites of interest this part of West Cornwall has to offer.

With the ancient village of St Just less than one mile away and other places of interest such as Cape Cornwall, Land's End, Penzance you could even take a boat over to The Isles of Scilly.
