Situated in the beautiful Arreton Valley, Southland Experience Freedom Glamping is a great base for a family holiday to the Isle of Wight. Shanklin and its sandy beach are a ten minute drive from the site and there are plenty of cycle routes nearby, a great way to see the island! There are four safari tents, each sleeping up to five with an equipped kitchen and a veranda outside with comfy seating and a BBQ, perfect for nights in the open!

Looking for a family friendly glamping spot to complete your Isle of Wight getaway? This site may be just the thing, ideally located just outside Newchurch and ten minutes from Shanklin and the coast, yet still close to the Isle of Wight's pretty countryside with plenty of cycle paths direct from the site. There are four safari tents on offer, each sleeping up to five making it the perfect spot for a family getaway. There is a double room and a separate room with two single beds and a single bunk too. All of the bedding is provided. For self-catering, there is a kettle, toaster, fridge, a two ring hob, a microwave, crockery, utensils and a sink. Outside the safari tents is a veranda with comfy outdoor seating, ideal for unwinding of an evening with a glass of wine. There is also a picnic table, a parasol and a BBQ outside for al fresco dining, or if you would prefer to eat inside, there is a dining table. You're well-positioned for all corners of the Isle of Wight and never far from its stunning beaches. Half of the island has been declared as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so there is plenty of pretty countryside to explore, so be sure to bring the bikes and head out on a family cycle ride around the island! Known as 'Dinosaur Island', there are plenty of spots to discover the island's Jurassic heritage as well as the towns of Newport and Cowes within easy reach by car. The safari tents are pet free, but please be aware that there may be dogs onsite at the neighbouring touring park. You will also find a selection of grass pitches for tents onsite. Open fires are not permitted, BBQs are allowed as long as they are raised from the ground.

In the village of Newchurch, you'll find a pleasant country inn, The Pointer Inn for food and drinks just a ten minute walk from site. For picking up any essentials there is a Premier, a 30 minute walk away, or for a larger shop there is a Morrisons in Shanklin, a five minute drive away.
