Bell Tent - Bell TentsAug 2024

Beautifully managed campsite with clean facilities. The bell tent was spacious with a comfortable mattress and the fairy lights and outside solar lighting was pretty. Adele and Paul were very welcoming and made sure we had plenty of wood and water. The shower was nice and hot! The sound of the stream was very relaxing and we appreciated the sun loungers. We saw goldcrests and long tailed tits in the trees above us (as well as the usual robins) and a green woodpecker in the woods and a red kite further up the hill, by the Roman fort. All in all, a great stay! Our only request for future visitors would be to provide an inventory of what people need to bring and what is provided, as we brought things we didn't need and didn't bring warm bedding (some was provided but it was light but Adele leant us a couple of sleeping bags, so all was fine!)
