Stunning place to stay, with a lot of outside space and a park for our children to play which they absolutely loved. Could easily bring a bat and ball and avoid coming into contact with people. Toilets/showers were lovely and clean and also the communal area where you could go to wash dishes and cook was lovely and clean too. We were greeted and given some wood for the fire and they were lovely. You can also get more wood and ice packs at the back of the communal shed for £5 which was easy enough to do. We did ask for a cot on the original booking but didn't get one, but it was fine as he slept in between us so wasn't a huge problem so we didn't feel the need to bring it up. If you need one may be worth asking them if they have them on site. There are two shops fairly local too which have mostly everything you'd need, including for younger children (Calpol, baby food, marshmallows and sticks) and also a lovely little chippy (come out of the grounds, turn left and left again and then just follow the road). We will definitely come back as a family and just as a couple.
Wonderful break

This was our first ever experience with an eco campsite and we loved it!!! My son had gone away to the Isle of Wight for a few days with my mother in law, so we decided to book a short trip away with our daughter, we looked at a couple of different sites that offer the bell tents as accommodation, and this one took to our liking due to location and overall look of the site. Upon arrival we were greeted by Gary, a really friendly guy and he give us a tour of the accommodation and our own toilet and shower area, which are individual to the name of the bell tent you're staying in (only you use those facilities and are not shared with other guests). The toilet/shower area was beautifully clean and tidy and the system itself was genius in the design. *TAKE A TORCH/HEADLAMP WITH YOU IF YOU NEED TO WALK TO THE TOILET WHEN ITS DARK* (good lighting inside the toilet/shower area) The tent was more than adequate in size, clean and more importantly comfortable with the bed and fouton arrangements (own bedding and pillows needed). A cooler box, with ice packs were available, the kettle, cups, cutlery and utensils were really handy for cooking on the fire pit (read instructions on when/how to use the fire pit which are laminated within the tent. There is an area with 2 separate gas cookers with 4 hobs on each to boil the kettle or cook on as cooking on the fire pit can be weather dependent. There are fire pits outside each of the bell tents plus other communal fire pits available around the campsite (bag of wood given free on arrival, and money for additional bags is put in the "HONESTY BOX" please don't give anything less and keep the bags that they come in to be reused). It was spectacular sat there with the fire roaring while looking up at the stars on a clear night, I've never seen so many!! There is a lovely area with a a few swings and plenty of room to kick a ball about around the site too. Newcastle Emlyn town is not too far away, just a short 5/10 minute car journey, a few handy shops in and around the town with plenty of choice of take away options. We popped in to the bunch of grapes a couple of times and the staff were friendly and the food smelt and looked amazing. We did venture down to Poppit beach and Cardigan town centre which offers more of a shopping choice, which took us around 20-30 minutes in the car to get too. All in all a very enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend, nothing was too much trouble and Becca was fantastic with answering questions on the phone number provided and was always answered if we had any questions leading up to the booking and if we needed anything physically when on the site. Thank you both, will definitely book again soon, good luck with the rest of the season.
An enjoyable weekend

We stayed here for 3 nights in a Bell Tent and were the only ones on site all weekend, which was a bonus. We were provided with all the cutlery and pans, a kettle, a cool box with fresh ice blocks each day and a bag of logs for the firepit. Shower was warm and the bed was quite comfy. A decent location, around 20 mins drive to Newquay and Aberporth. Local shop a 5 minute drive.
Very clean and peaceful place!

Excellent stay here. Hosts came to meet us and were very accomodating. No electricity, but places to plug in your phone to charge. We took an inverter and used our car for anything else. Local pub is closed, so you will need a car to visit ones in the surrounding area (The Red Lion was honestly amazing - if you're vegan, they have lots to offer and the drinks menu is huge!). We took our dogs and enjoyed the dog walking area. It was super quiet and it didn't feel like we had to fight over the facilities - everyone gets their own toilet and shower and the kitchen was always free. There's a nice space next to the tent for your car and included is a bench and firepit (too cook on). Really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely fantastic stay with these guys. The site was lovely right in the countryside. The tents and the Lotus Tent that we stayed in was large enough for us 3, 2 adults and 1 child and would be large enough for 2 children and 2 adults. Everything provided for you, plates, cups and everything you need to cook with. The showers had hot water and were spotless for outdoor showers, the toilets are compost toilets which are perfectly easy to use and they too were spotless. The tents are set out so not too close to each other, giving each of the guests plenty of room to themselves. Sheila and co could not be more helpful, giving us a run lead for the dog and logs for our first stay. They have a playground area and dog walking area so accommodate for all guests. They provide kitchen facilities and ice packs for the eske which is provided in your tent.
