About The Daggles

Tucked away on the edge of the stunning Blackmore Vale, this secluded site is ideal for families and small groups of friends seeking an off grid, back to basics retreat but with the convenience of hot gas powered showers and 'proper' flushing loos! You'll find plenty of space for kids to run around and play games, build dens, and enjoy picnics. There is even a circular woodland walk that's suitable for off roading pushchairs, making it easy for families with young children to explore the great outdoors. Plus, the site is conveniently located just a ten minute drive from the charming village of Sherborne and around 40 minutes from the beautiful beach at Weymouth. The village of Leigh has a great shop that sells the essentials plus great coffee and snacks. With only six pitches available, the site is exclusively for tents and vehicles are not permitted, ensuring a secure environment for families with young children. Unpacking is made easy with wheelbarrows provided to transport your belongings from the neighbouring car parking area. Surrounded by a three-acre grassy field, the pitches are located around the edge of a field, and each one comes with a designated campfire area. If you're in a small family group, you can pitch a couple of tents close to each other, so you can all stick together. For a digital detox, this is the place for you as it's off-grid, meaning no wifi or power points for charging gadgets (although there is phone signal if needed). Ice blocks can be frozen back at the farm if needed. Sorry pets are not permitted on site. Exclusive hire is available for big family get-togethers or parties.

Open from 24 May to 3 September

Our milk goes into Barbers Farmhouse cheddar, so keep an eye out for it next time you're shopping!

We can't wait to meet you and share our farm with you,

Jess, Mark, Percy and Theodora
