Lizard View is a peaceful, family friendly site set on a family-run working farm that, as the name suggests, enjoys stunning views over the Lizard Peninsula and Cornish countryside. There are just 22 spacious grass pitches onsite eight of which have an electric hook up. Ideally located for exploring Cornwall with Porthleven Beach just a 15 minute drive and Helston 'the gateway to the Lizard Peninsula' only ten minutes by car. Sorry, no dogs.

About Lizard View
This family friendly site is set just a ten minute drive from Helston known as 'the gateway to the Lizard Peninsula' so you'll be ideally located for beach days, pub meals and top attractions. The site is small with just 22 well-spaced grass pitches, eight of which have a 10 amp electric hook up. Pitches are suitable for tents and trailer tents only. You won't be short of things to do in the area with Porthleven Beach only a 15 minute drive away and Praa Sands 20 minutes away you can have plenty of seaside fun! Hire a surfboard or bodyboard for the day and take a lesson or just soak in the sunshine with a walk along the sandy shores. Strictly no campfires allowed unless in raised fire pits, you can have a BBQ but please ensure that it is raised from the ground, blocks are available to help. Please only use charcoal or gas as fuel. Sorry, dogs are not allowed.
Lizard View is open from 01/08 to 31/10 in 2024 and from 01/06 to 31/10 in 2025.

Things to do on site and in the Helston area
The site is ideally located for visiting some top beaches, one of the closest is in Porthleven (15 minutes) a foodie hotspot with celebrity chef restaurants and great for those wanting to pick up some locally made crafts. Within 30 minutes there are plenty of other beaches as well as countryside walks with bridleways surrounding the site.
If you don't feel like walking there is a bus stop just a short walk from the campsite that runs a 20 minute service to Helston, or to other local towns with a national rail service. Helston is known for the Flora Dance and Hal-an-Tow traditions in May and is a must see whilst you are there!
