About the site


If you are searching for peace and quiet, you have found the right spot. This family and dog friendly glamping site offers a relaxed, rural experience and promises a care-free adventure for all. You will also be only 20 minutes from the England and Wales border, great for exploring further afield! The site offers one luxury safari tent which sleeps up to five people. Inside is a spacious open-plan living room and fully-equipped kitchen with a dining table, along with a double bedroom and a secondary bedroom with a single bed and bunk beds. For keeping toasty on those cooler evenings, you will also have a wood burning stove, along with a luxury modern ensuite with shower. Enjoy an evening drink on the terrace whilst the kids play one of the board games in the living room and see if you can spot a deer at sunset. There is also one shepherd hut on site, perfect for couples with a woodburning stove to have a cosy evening on those chiller nights. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, oven and a fridge so you can be completely self catered. Equipped with underfloor heating and a double bed with 100% cotton bedding for a truly luxurious stay. The safari tent and shepherd hut also has a BBQ and a bookable private hot tub, from which you can watch the stars in peace, except for the occasional crackle of the wood-fired stove. There is electricity and hot water inside too, so you don't have to live completely off-grid! The helpful visitor information section in the shop includes the 'Wander Wall', where you'll find details of local hikes and activities for all ages and abilities. Your friendly host Tam can also give you recommendations for things to do throughout your stay in addition to those provided in your handbook. There are also a variety of extras which can be booked during the checkout process. These include a glass bottle of fresh milk which can be refilled at the next-door organic dairy, a high chair, travel cot and an entertainment set for children. Well-behaved dogs on leads are also to join you for your stay, but please note there is a small additional charge for cleaning.

The safari tent has its own ensuite facilites. There is also an onsite farm shop that features gourmet, hand-prepared ready meals from the local Deli, seasonal produce and meat are often on offer.

Your nearest pub will be The Station Inn, a five minute drive away, with two others also nearby. The quaint market town of Church Stretton is also a five-minute drive away, where you'll find small, independent shops and Carding Mill Valley, a very popular spot for walkers.

Furnished with a double bed and equipped with a kitchenette with a stove, microwave, oven and fridge, this hut also has it's own private facilities. Outside there is a hot tub and charcoal BBQ with a table and chairs.

Guests are welcome to check-in from 3pm until 9pm, Please advise the site if you are delayed. Check out is due before 11am on your final day.

Yes, four legged friends are welcome to join you in your stay, please keep them on a lead, there are plenty of great dog walks nearby.

Raised BBQs are permitted, perfect for al fresco dining in the evenings. Sorry, open fires are not allowed.

There is an onsite shop that features gourmet prepared ready meals from the local deli, seasonal produce and meat is also on offer.


The quaint market town of Church Stretton is a five minute drive away, where you'll find small, independent shops and Carding Mill Valley, a very popular spot for walkers. The larger towns of Shrewsbury and Ludlow are both within a 30 minute drive and make for an excellent day-trip too

Nearby activities include fishing, swimming, mountain biking, paragliding, golf, horse riding and many more - a full list is provided in the visitor welcome pack. And, of course, you'll have access to the footpaths on the Estate and beyond, if hiking is what you're interested in.

For learning about some local history, head to Ludlow Castle (25 minutes). The restored Norman castle is steeped in history dating all the way back to 1066. Discover hidden rooms, riverside views and even a beautiful art gallery.
