Just a five minute drive from Ellesmere is The Newnes Touring Caravan Park. A family run adult only site that offers guests a peaceful countryside escape. Set on a working farm and welcoming dogs, there is even a fishing pool onsite for guests to enjoy. With a selection of electric grass and hardstanding pitches on offer, guests can expect unspoilt country views right from their pitch.

this si a very nice site with spotlessly clean facilities. we wre on the 1st field as you enter the site. there are some good views. there was a toilet block for male & male and a separate unit with 2 self contained ahoeer rooms. the site is well signposted from.the main road. the walk into Ellesmere takes about 15 - 20 minutes across a field and then onto the main road. thankfully on our visist we had no rain but I could imagine that the field could be very wet and muddy when we have heavy rain. the lower field is closer to.the main road so you could experience noice from passing traffic. I would suggest that the owners looked at adding more hard standing pitches on field 1.

The site was set in beautiful surroundings, the bonus of the horses in the field was lovely. Facilities were great, toilet blocks were large and had everything you needed. Clean and peaceful until work hours, when the main road became very busy and noisy. Phone call received with all instructions before arrival. Person-less check in with key coded gate.

First outing in our new motorhome - very impressed with the site. We are not seasoned campers so cannot compare this site to others. However, my wife and I were very impressed with the site. The pitches were level and gravelled, the whole site was very clean and well maintained. The toilet / shower block was immaculate with individual rooms housing a toilet, shower and sink unit. Very private indeed. Robin (the owner) called us prior to visiting and let us know which pitch to use, we met him on site and he was friendly and gave us all the information that we required. There were full facilities for chemical toilets and other disposal requirements. Located a short walk to the town of Ellesmere, we enjoyed a fantastic 3 day break with our pet dog. I would recommend this site to anyone.

This is a top site , it is very peaceful and a short walk from Ellesmere. The toilet block was like new and very clean .

Lovely clean site. Facilities were very clean and warm (it was -2 when we stayed) easy walking distance to the town. Lovely friendly host.
