About Cotna Eco Retreat

This family friendly glamping site is nestled on a secluded farm just ten minutes from sandy beaches including the Perhavers, Hemmick and Colonna. There are three yurts and one shepherd's huts to choose from, all of which are nestled away in their own secluded location and are individually decorated and include well equipped kitchenettes with all equipment, tea, sugar and spices, a wood-fired stove. Gilliflower is a 16 feet yurt, has bright colours, Indian prints and a handcrafted double bed with all linen provided. An extra single bed can be provided upon request and so Gilliflower can sleep up to three people. You'll overlook woodlands and be able to hear birdsong. Tregonna King is an 18 feet yurt and is decorated with North African rugs and silk furniture, whilst Fern Pippin is decorated with Scandinavian furnishings and soft pinks and greens. Both sleep up to four people in a king-sized bed and optional extra single futons and are nestled in the opposite corners of a sheltered willow lined field. There's also a romantic shepherd's hut, Ismay, with a double bed and a single bunk too. It's a place to relax, enjoy a simpler life and breath-taking views, kitted out with Indian silk hangings and locally sourced organic cotton textiles. All the units have solar lighting and their own individual washing up sinks outside and nearby you'll have your own warm shower and compost loo. As previous winners of the Cornwall Sustainability Award for Best Contribution to Sustainable Land Management for Environmental Growth, this peaceful glampsite has a sustainability orientated ethos. There are a number of homemade organic food hampers for you to pre-order, including the farmhouse breakfast, more raw breakfast, Indian, late arrival and garden taster...packed full of homegrown produce and perfect for a hassle free getaway! Due to chickens onsite, the site accepts well behaved dogs only, and this must be confirmed by prior agreement.

The yurts are available from May until the end of September. The shepherd's hut is available all year.
