About the site
Enjoy a peaceful stay at this award-winning marina located in the centre of the Cheshire canal network, explore the 100 acres of countryside site with quaint narrowboats, picnic spots surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and an onsite cafe serving tasty treats. For tents, there are 24 non electric grass pitches each measuring 5m x 9m. While for motorhomes and campervans there are 16 non electric grass pitches which measure 8m x 12m. There are also a range of gravel pitches and bell tents onsite. There is a popular onsite cafe overlooking the marina which is open every day for those after a home-cooked breakfast or afternoon tipple! The site also offers a range of activities to keep guests entertained. Whether you're hoping to hire an electric boat, or enjoy a spot of archery and axe throwing, on certain Saturdays in the summer some great activities are offered. With Nantwich a ten minutes away and Malpas a 30 minute drive, guests can enjoy so many great outings nearby! Dogs are welcome onsite as long as they are supervised at all times. BBQs are welcome as long as they are raised from the ground and attended to at all times. Campfires are not permitted.
Gravel pitches are open all year round. The non electric pitches and bell tents are open for weekends in June and July and then from 25th July to 1st September.

5m bell tent with a double bed and two singles with bedding and towels, bedside tables and lamps. Shared facilities are nearby. Please bring your own cooking equipment. Sorry no dogs.

If you're keen to explore some natural beauty drive 15 minutes to Bluebell Woods for a scenic woodland walk, or Delamere forest is a 30 minute drive away where you can walk along various trails, grab a bite to eat at the café or even unlock your inner adventurer and attempt the Go Ape course on offer!
The historic city of Chester is a 40 minute drive away and easily accessible from the site. If you fancy taking a trip back to the past, visit the largest Roman amphitheatre in Britain, amble through the 700 year old Rows shopping district or pop over to the Cathedral to see some medieval carvings. If you've got the kids in tow, why not explore Chester Zoo or the Blue Planet aquarium!
