About Bell Tent Village Parks
There is no time for boredom at this site, with a host of adventurous activities on offer there is plenty to occupy your time. Ideally located for a countryside escape yet still only ten minutes from Nottingham city centre if you wish to explore the vibrant city. There are five bell tents to choose from varying in different shapes and sizes to suit all parties. The smallest is the Emperor tent which sleeps up to three with a double bed and a sofa bed, there is also a mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a heater for chillier nights. Outside is a BBQ area. The Glade tent sleeps up to four with a double bed and two single futons. The tent has a stylish interior with cosy furnishings and fairy lights, to keep you warm there is an electric heater as well as power sockets and a kettle. Bedding is included. The Majesty tent also sleeps up to three and has a similar style to a safari tent and features a double bed and two single futons. Bedding is included. There is a mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and outside is seating and a BBQ area. Penta tent is slightly bigger and sleeps up to five with two bedrooms and a living room. There is a single sofa bed in the living room, a double bed in one bedroom and two singles in the other. The tent has heaters and tea and coffee making facilities. The apartment tent is the largest of all, sleeping up to 16 people across two interconnecting bedrooms, each with eight single beds. There is a heater inside, soft furnishings including fairy lights, a mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, power sockets. Outside is a picnic table and BBQ area. The site is set on the edge of the Holme Country Park, separated by a row of young laurel trees. This is the home of the National Water Sports Centre, where guests have direct access to the water sports on offer including white water rafting, and paddle boarding. There is even a mini golf course and sky trail with rope swings and zip lines. Sorry, no dogs are allowed in any of the tents. There is a communal fire pit for all guests to use.

Bedding is included in all of the bell tents, but please bring your own towels.
The closest shop is a Co-op which is just a 20 minute walk away, and for meals out the Lady Bay pub is also just a 20 minute walk away.

Things to do on site and in the Nottingham area
Head to the National Water Sports Centre for days filled with adventure! From rafting to paddle boarding to tubing there is plenty of activities to keep you busy! There is also a sky trail which features zip lines and rope swings. This is open during weekends and school holidays.
Or, practice your swing at the mini golf course or try archery tag with your family and spark up some competition, there is no need to travel too far to find adventure! Or, head on a walk around the 270 acre country park with pretty ponds and wildlife.
Nottingham city centre (10 minutes) is an easy drive from the site or there is a bus service in the nearby village. Here you can grab a bite to drink or something to eat at one of the many restaurants and bars or mooch around the shops.
