Millview Meadow Retreats is a lovely glamping retreat in the heart of the charming Norfolk Broads. These heated ensuite pods sleep upto four people and have stylish furnishings throughout. A dog friendly site with lovely countryside views whilst still being an easy drive to the coast.

About the site
Family friendly site set within the charming Runham village in the Norfolk Broads, just a short way from the River Bure and ten minutes from east coastline beaches. A lovely escape for anyone looking for an extra slice of luxury. There are just three glamping pods, one of which is pet friendly and two of which are pet free. All sleep up to four in a king size bed and set of bunk beds. Bedding and towels are also provided. The kitchenette has an integrated breakfast bar and is full equipped with a sink, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, crockery, cooking utensils and a smoke detector. The ensuite has a shower, toilet, wash basin and complimentary toiletries. Each pod is well insulated with central heating and even has a 32 inch smart TV and WiFi. Breakfast packs can also be provided upon request. Outside, the large French doors open up onto a private decking which is complete with quality outdoor furniture and a fire pit with an integrated BBQ grill. so you can sit back and relax with views over marshland with grazing animals, a historic Norfolk mill and a section of the pretty local church Dogs are welcome and with there being so much nearby countryside, this is a lovely choice for dog walkers and hikers alike.

The pod was clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed. The grandchildren absolutely loved the bunk beds. The site is quiet and there is enough space for children to have a run about.

The pod was mostly clean, spacious with a very comfortable bed. Although hot at night (couldn't leave the doors open because of mosquitoes so the fan was needed), it was lovely during the day. Great to have a TV to keep up with the Olympics and the biscuits were a lovely touch.

Before coming to Millview Meadow Retreats, you'll receive all essential information you need for a perfect stay. We booked five nights. If you book for more than one night, I'd recommend bringing your own toiletries. The shampoo and shower gel provided wouldn't suffice otherwise. I might have misread the email, but we were prepared anyway, so it wasn't an issue for us at all. This really is a tranquil place. We were welcomed with coffee, tea, and a jar of our favourite biscuits, which, after a long journey, is exactly what we needed. We fell in love with this tastefully decorated pod instantly. The layout is so cleverly designed, giving plenty of space for a family of 4, and we were pleasantly surprised that our 6ft1 teenager fitted in the bunk bed without any problems. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for the whole stay, so we stayed out majorly of the time, but the pod clearly caters for rainy days, too. Everything was clean and tidy, with the kitchen fully equipped. We were new to the area, so the owners' guide to places of interest came really handy. The golden sandy beaches and the day boat hire to explore the Broads just a short drive away provided perfect family time. We also love camp fires and smores! The fire pit was brilliant, we were having a fantastic time in the evening under the clear stary sky. The three pods are well spaced out, giving campers plenty of privacy. We had a really comfortable stay and made many happy memories. Thank you for allowing us to stay with you!
