About Red Lion Pub and Gardens

This family friendly touring site is situated behind a charming pub which serves delicious hearty food, perfect after a long day. Located just 15 minutes from the English-Welsh border, and just five minutes from the M40, this can be the perfect mid-point for those looking to meet up with friends or family. Caravans and campervans are welcome on the site's grass pitches, each with an electric hook up. Enjoy being surrounded by beautiful countryside and having easy access to Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The pub serves food every day and is known for it's delicious meals and great range of ales. In the warmer months, you can enjoy sitting in the beer garden whilst kids play in the playground. Dogs are welcome onsite and in the pub.

Puzzlewood is located just 25 minutes away and is the perfect way to enjoy a day out in the open with all of the family. Explore the enchanted woodland in the Forest of Dean, you may even recognise it from productions such as Doctor Who, Star Wars: The Force Awaken or Jack the Giant Slayer.

For those who love a good glass of wine, you're situated within 20 minutes of two amazing vineyards - Wythall Estate and Three Choirs. At Wythall Estate (15 minutes) you can enjoy a glass of their award-winning wine in their lakeside garden, the perfect place for a summer afternoon.
