Bryn Gloch Caravan and Camping Park is a family-run park at the foot of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) with glorious mountain and riverside views. The park sits on the banks of the Afon Gwyrfai, with grass and hardstanding pitches for tents and tourers, plus the option of electric or fully serviced, along with cosy shepherd's huts. There is an onsite shop, play parks and free WiFi, with the beginning on the Snowdon Ranger Path a five minute drive away!

About Bryn Gloch
Located at the foot of Snowdon, the site is ideal for keen hikers, with plenty of surrounding routes for those wanting a more gentle stroll. Sit back at your pitch and admire glorious views of the surrounding mountains, with the Afon Gwyrfai River running past for paddling and wildlife spotting. Tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes are welcome across the site's 10m x 6m grass and hardstanding pitches. All of the 200 pitches welcome up to six guests each, with the option of a 10 amp electric hook up or a fully serviced pitch with drainage and a water and 10 amp electric hook up. If glamping is more your style, the Gelert shepherd's hut sleeps up to three guests and comes equipped with a double bed and a small sofa bed, along with a TV for cosy nights in. This unit is pet friendly. The other dog friendly shepherd's hut is Owain which has two single beds and a small sofa, also with a TV. The dog free huts are Llywellyn and Gruffydd, Llywellyn sleeps up to three with two single beds and a sofa bed and the Gruffydd shepherd's hut has a small sofa, a TV and a double bed, sleeping two. Please note, that these are like camping without the tent. You will have to bring everything with you, from bedding to cooking equipment. You can also enjoy evenings under the stars, snuggling up around the fire pit, just please ensure it is raised from the ground. Raised BBQs are also permitted. If no holiday is complete without your furry friend, not to worry, up to two dogs are welcome per pitch. Please note, breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted.
Bryn Gloch is open from 01/01 to 02/01 and 01/03 to 31/12.
Facilities include heated shower and toilet blocks with large and private cubicles, a parent and baby room, and an accessible bathroom. There is a hot bath available for a small charge.
There's also a laundrette, dishwashing room, TV room with a coffee machine, communal stone-built BBQ, games room with pool tables, two children's play areas, a football field, a picnic area and a dog walking area. Free WiFi is available.
There is also an onsite licensed shop selling essentials, gifts and caravan accessories. A Lifestyle Express is also five minutes away, and the Snowdonia Parc pub is just a 20 minute walk away. A bus stop can be found by the entrance.

This was an amazing site to stay at. It is very spacious and the facilities are excellent. I work in prosecution, so you can imagine how stressful my job is, and my husband is disabled. We needed somewhere to have a bit of relaxation. When we arrived at the site, we discovered that we were situated next to the toilet and shower block. I can state that this block is exceptionally clean, spacious and warm. This really was a gift because my husband can not walk too far on uneven ground. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. We woke to a beautiful sunny morning and Mother Nature had been busy plastering the place in ice. Standing outside with your coffee and watching the sun come up over the mountains, what could be more awe inspiring? We were blessed with a little robin, who was as bold as brass, chose to sit on our step right outside of our camper van door. We hardly dare breathe, I've never seen that before. The staff are absolutely amazing and so friendly. I would, absolutely, without any doubt, recommend your visiting here. It really is something else.

Things to do on site and in the Caernarfon area
Visitors to the Snowdonia National Park are not short of things to do. Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is just 2.5 miles away from the site and numerous paths start from the park, with the Snowdon Ranger Path starting a five minute drive away (with a car park at the entrance).
Despite being in the mountains, there are plenty of local beaches to visit, including Dinas Dinlle (20 minutes) or Black Rock Sands and its miles of golden sands (40 minutes).
Y Weirglodd Fawr is ten acres of land that have been left by the park to grow naturally and have now been designated as a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest). It's the perfect spot for a walk or to stop and relax by the river. Get lucky and you may spot an otter or kingfisher!
Fishing is also popular, either for trout, sea trout or salmon in the half mile of crystal clear river at the park's perimeter.
