Harmony Huts on the Hill offers secluded and peaceful shepherd's huts on the outskirts of Bwlch-y-ffrid in Wales. Built for two guests, each hut features a comfy double bed, one bathroom and all the amenities you could need, including a kitchenette, fridge and indoor fireplace. Head on country walks nearby, meet the resident sheep Boris and Mary and keep an eye out for the abundance of wildlife!

About Harmony Huts on the Hill
Set on a peaceful meadow on a smallholding in mid-Wales, this adult-only glamping site offers fully-equipped shepherd's huts close to Bwlch-y-ffridd, ten minutes from the village of Caersws. Nestled on the side of a hill, it's a great rural retreat for two. There are two ensuite huts to choose from, Bella and Frida. Both are well insulated and well-equipped for a restful stay all year round. Inside, there's a double bed for two people with all bedding provided. Both feature a 50L mini fridge, a gas cooker, toaster, kettle and all cooking utensils (including pots and pans). You'll even have complimentary tea, coffee and sugar. As for heating, you'll have a cosy log burner to keep you warm and electric sockets are available to charge your devices should you need to! While both huts provide a comfortable stay, Frida is slightly longer than Bella and includes a dining table and chairs inside. Outside is a bench, table and chairs for those summer nights and Welsh valley views. On-site parking is available at the bottom of the hill, and the huts are located a short walk up the hill through the meadow. The site does provide a wheelbarrow to help you with your luggage. One well behaved dog is allowed in Bella Shepherd's Hut only.

Both glamping units have their own ensuite toilet and shower facilities. Please note there is no Wi-Fi however the mobile signal on most networks is great.
The village of Caersws is just ten minutes by car with a local Co-op mini market, butchers and fish and chip shop. The Unicorn is a local pub in the area too.

Things to do on site and in the Newtown area
Pay a visit to Gregynog Hall (10 minutes), a Victorian mansion surrounded by 750 acres of different landscapes, including ancient woodland and formal gardens full of spectacular colour, with a sunken garden, water features, and fountains made of concrete.
A 20 minute drive will take you to Dolforwyn Castle, a Welsh medieval castle overlooking the Severn Valley. Built between 1273-77 by Llywelyn ap Gruffudd (Llywelyn the Last), explore the ruins and learn of its intriguing history.
Further afield, you can visit Hafren Forest (45 minutes) with woodland walks, and waterfalls such as the Severn Break its Neck waterfall and Blaenhafren Falls.
